Adjustable ring protector

Abstract

Adjustable ring protectors to be worn on a digit of a user that include a first ring shape, an interior comprising at least one interior material, an exterior comprising at least one exterior material encasing the at least one interior material, and the exterior comprising an exterior surface including a texture. The first ring shape includes a first end, a second end, and a first open space between the first end and the second end. The least one exterior material includes a soft material. The at least one interior material includes a deformable material. The at least one interior material and the at least one exterior material are configured to minimally deform producing a second ring shape configured to securely fit the adjustable ring protector on the digit of the user. The second ring shape includes the first end, the second end, and a second open space. In some examples, the adjustable ring protector includes a first end cap coupled to the first end and a second end cap coupled to the second end. In some further examples, the exterior of the adjustable ring protector includes an inner surface comprising a inner surface texture and an outer surface comprising an outer surface texture, wherein the inner surface texture is different from the outer surface texture.

1 . An adjustable ring protector to be worn by a user, the adjustable ring protector comprising:
 a first ring shape comprising a first end, a second end, and a first open space between the first end and the second end;   an interior comprising at least one interior material, wherein the at least one interior material includes a deformable material;   an exterior comprising
 an exterior surface comprising a texture, and 
 at least one exterior material configured to encase the interior, wherein the at least one exterior material comprises a soft material; and 
   wherein the at least one interior material and the at least one exterior material are configured to minimally deform producing a second ring shape comprising the first end, the second end, and a second open space, wherein the second ring shape is configured to securely fit the adjustable ring protector on a digit of the user.   
     
     
         2 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 1 , wherein the texture is selected from the group consisting essentially of a pattern, a design, decoration, imprint, a rough texture, or a smooth texture. 
     
     
         3 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 1 , further comprising a first end cap coupled to the first end and a second end cap coupled to the second end. 
     
     
         4 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 3 , wherein the first end cap and the second end cap comprise the at least one exterior material. 
     
     
         5 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 1 , wherein the second ring shape is a helix. 
     
     
         6 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 1 , wherein the second ring shape is a wrap 
     
     
         7 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 1 , wherein the soft material is selected from the group consisting of silicone, silicone rubber, and silicone gel. 
     
     
         8 . An adjustable ring protector to be worn by a user, the adjustable ring protector comprising:
 a ring shape comprising
 a first end coupled to a first end cap comprising a first end cap shape, 
 a second end coupled to a second end cap comprising a second end cap shape, and 
 an open space between the first end cap and the second end cap; 
   an interior comprising at least one interior material, wherein the at least one interior material includes a deformable material;   an exterior comprising
 an exterior surface comprising a texture, and 
 at least one exterior material configured to encase the interior, wherein the at least one exterior material comprises a soft material; and 
   wherein the at least one interior material and the at least one exterior material are configured to minimally deform to securely fit the adjustable ring protector on a digit of the user.   
     
     
         9 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 8 , wherein the texture is selected from the group consisting essentially of a pattern, a design, decoration, imprint, a rough texture, or a smooth texture. 
     
     
         10 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 8 , wherein the first end cap is configured to removably couple to the first end and the second end, and the second end cap is configured to removably couple to the first end and second end. 
     
     
         11 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 8 , wherein the first end cap is integrally formed on the first end, and wherein the second end cap is integrally formed on the second end. 
     
     
         12 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 8 , wherein the first end cap shape is different than the second end cap shape. 
     
     
         13 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 8 , wherein the first end cap shape is the same as the second end cap shape. 
     
     
         14 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 8 , further comprising one or more charms coupled to the exterior surface, wherein the one or more charms comprise one or more shapes. 
     
     
         15 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more shapes include the first end cap shape and the second end cap shape. 
     
     
         16 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 14 , wherein the one or more shapes are different from the first end cap shape and the second end cap shape. 
     
     
         17 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 8 , wherein the soft material is selected from the group consisting of silicone, silicone rubber, and silicone gel. 
     
     
         18 . An adjustable ring protector to be worn by a user, the adjustable ring protector comprising:
 a ring shape comprising a first end, a second end, and an open space between the first end and the second end;   an interior comprising at least one interior material, wherein the at least one interior material includes a deformable material;   an exterior configured to encase the interior, the exterior comprising
 at least one exterior material comprising a soft material, 
 an inner surface comprising an inner surface texture, 
 an outer surface comprising an outer surface texture, 
 wherein the inner surface texture comprises a different texture than the outer surface texture; and 
   wherein the at least one interior material and the at least one exterior material are configured to minimally deform to securely fit the adjustable ring protector on a digit of the user.   
     
     
         19 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 18 , wherein the inner surface texture and the outer surface texture are selected from the group consisting essentially of a pattern, a design, decoration, imprint, a rough texture, or a smooth texture. 
     
     
         20 . The adjustable ring protector of  claim 18 , wherein the soft material is selected from the group consisting of silicone, silicone rubber, and silicone gel.
