Multifunctional Sprayer Sponge Mop Device

Abstract

A sprayer sponge mop device comprising a telescoping handle with an ergonomic grip and a pivotal mop head at the bottom end is disclosed. The mop head accommodates a removable sponge for absorbing spills. A planar plate is disposed within the mop head and operates using a lever to squeeze excess liquid from the sponge. Additionally, the device includes a reservoir positioned on the handle for storing a cleaning solution that is sprayed using a trigger via a nozzle directly in front of the mop head. The trigger is operatively connected to the reservoir by a clutch wire, enabling a user to control the dispensing of the cleaning solution. The multifunctional tool combines the cleaning of a sponge mop with the convenience of a spray mop.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A multifunctional handheld cleaning tool comprising:
 a sprayer sponge mop;   a telescoping handle;   an ergonomic grip;   a sponge mop head;   a removable sponge mop;   a cleaning solution reservoir; and   cleaning solution;   wherein said telescoping handle having a top end and an opposing bottom end;   wherein said ergonomic grip proximal to said top end;   wherein said sponge mop head pivotally connected to said bottom end of said telescoping handle;   wherein said sponge mop head having said removable sponge mop selectively attached thereto; and   further wherein said removable sponge mop is reusable.   
     
     
         2 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 1 , wherein said cleaning solution reservoir positioned from 6 inches to 20 inches above said bottom end of said telescoping handle. 
     
     
         3 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 2 , wherein said cleaning solution reservoir having a nozzle for dispensing said cleaning solution onto a surface in front of a leading edge of said sponge mop head. 
     
     
         4 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 3 , wherein said telescoping handle having a trigger and a clutch wire connected to said nozzle for actuating said nozzle and dispensing said cleaning solution. 
     
     
         5 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 4 , wherein said sponge mop head is rectilinear including a width from 1 inch to 20 inches. 
     
     
         6 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 5 , wherein said telescoping handle having a length from 30 inches to 55 inches. 
     
     
         7 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 6 , wherein said cleaning solution reservoir having a material selected from the group consisting of a translucent material, a transparent material, and an opaque material. 
     
     
         8 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 1 , wherein said sponge mop head is selectively removable from said handle. 
     
     
         9 . A multifunctional handheld cleaning tool comprising:
 a sprayer sponge mop;   a handle;   an ergonomic grip;   a sponge mop head;   a removable sponge mop;   a cleaning solution reservoir; and   cleaning solution;   wherein said handle having a top end and an opposing bottom end;   wherein said ergonomic grip proximal to said top end;   wherein said sponge mop head pivotally connected to said bottom end of said handle;   wherein said sponge mop head having said removable sponge mop selectively attached thereto;   wherein said removable sponge mop is reusable;   wherein said sponge mop head having a planar plate connected to an inner surface of said sponge mop head;   wherein said handle having a lever and a connecting rod;   wherein said planar plate operatively connected to said lever with said connecting rod; and   further wherein actuating said lever pushes said planar plate against said removable sponge mop for squeezing fluid out from said removable sponge mop.   
     
     
         10 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 9 , wherein said cleaning solution reservoir positioned from 6 inches to 20 inches above said bottom end of said handle. 
     
     
         11 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 10 , wherein said cleaning solution reservoir having a nozzle for dispensing said cleaning solution onto a surface in front of a leading edge of said sponge mop head. 
     
     
         12 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 11 , wherein said handle having a trigger and a clutch wire connected to said nozzle for actuating said nozzle and dispensing said cleaning solution. 
     
     
         13 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 12 , wherein said sponge mop head is rectilinear including a width from 1 inch to 20 inches. 
     
     
         14 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 13 , wherein said cleaning solution reservoir having a material selected from the group consisting of a translucent material, a transparent material, and an opaque material. 
     
     
         15 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 14 , wherein said sponge mop head and said planar plate are selectively removable from said handle. 
     
     
         16 . A multifunctional handheld cleaning tool comprising:
 a sprayer sponge mop;   a handle;   an ergonomic grip;   a sponge mop head;   a removable sponge mop;   a cleaning solution reservoir; and   cleaning solution;   wherein said handle having a top end and an opposing bottom end;   wherein said ergonomic grip proximal to said top end;   wherein said sponge mop head pivotally connected to said bottom end of said handle;   wherein said sponge mop head having said removable sponge mop selectively attached thereto;   wherein said removable sponge mop is reusable;   wherein said cleaning solution reservoir having a nozzle for dispensing said cleaning solution onto a surface in front of a leading edge of said sponge mop head;   wherein said handle having a trigger and a clutch wire connected to said nozzle for actuating said nozzle and dispensing said cleaning solution;   wherein said sponge mop head having a planar plate connected to an inner surface of said sponge mop head;   wherein said handle having a lever and a connecting rod;   wherein said planar plate operatively connected to said lever with said connecting rod; and   further wherein actuating said lever pushes said planar plate against said removable sponge mop for squeezing fluid out from said removable sponge mop.

         20 . The multifunctional handheld cleaning tool of  claim 16 , wherein said sponge mop head and said planar plate are selectively removable from said handle.
