Abstract
A self-defense phone case for holding a mobile device is disclosed herein. The self-defense phone case includes corners. The self-defense phone case further includes a shield. The shield includes a front surface for receiving the mobile device. The shield enables the holding of the mobile device by the self-defense phone case. The shield further includes corners. Each of the corners of the shields multiple notches configured to pierce the corners of the phone case and strike an attacker when the phone user hits the attacker with the self-defense phone case.
Claims

a front surface ( 102 ); a rear surface ( 104 ); a plurality of grooves ( 106 ); a plurality of ridges ( 108 ); a plurality of corners ( 109 A- 109 D); a receiving area ( 110 ); a shield ( 200 ) that removably fits within the receiving area ( 110 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ), the shield ( 200 ) comprises:
a front surface ( 202 ), and a rear surface ( 204 ), the front surface ( 202 ) configured to receive a mobile device ( 300 ) such that the mobile device ( 300 ) is held within the receiving area ( 110 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ); and
a plurality of corners ( 206 A- 206 D), wherein each corner of the plurality of corners ( 206 A- 206 D) includes a plurality of notches ( 208 A, 208 B) configured to pierce the corners ( 109 A- 109 D) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) and strike an attacker when a user of the mobile device ( 300 ) hits the attacker with the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) embodying the mobile device ( 300 ).
2 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of grooves ( 106 ), and the plurality of ridges ( 108 ) are selectively arranged in on a plurality of sidewalls ( 102 a ).
3 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein the receiving area ( 110 ) is defined by the front surface ( 102 ), the rear surface ( 104 ), and the plurality of sidewalls ( 102 a ).
4 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of corners ( 206 A- 206 D) extends upward from corners of the front surface ( 202 ) of the shield ( 200 ).
5 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of corners ( 109 A- 109 D) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) encloses the plurality of corners ( 206 A- 206 D) of the shield ( 200 ) when the shield ( 200 ) is received within the receiving area ( 110 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ).
6 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein the shield ( 200 ) comprises a plurality of shield grooves ( 210 A- 210 C) selectively arranged on the periphery of the shield ( 200 ).
7 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 6 , wherein the plurality of shield grooves ( 210 A- 210 C) are arranged to confirm with the plurality of grooves ( 106 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) such that the plurality of shield grooves ( 210 A- 210 C) and the plurality of grooves ( 106 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) collectively accommodate one or more elements of the mobile device ( 300 ).
8 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein the rear surface ( 104 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) and the rear surface ( 204 ) of the shield ( 200 ) comprises a first aperture ( 105 ), and a second aperture ( 205 ) respectively.
9 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 8 , wherein the second aperture ( 205 ) of the shield ( 200 ) is laid upon the first aperture ( 105 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) to expose a camera of the mobile device ( 300 ) when the shield ( 200 ) is received within the receiving area ( 110 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ).
10 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 8 , wherein the first aperture ( 105 ) and the second aperture ( 205 ) comprises a lip element ( 300 a ) to provide a secure fit with the camera of the mobile device ( 300 ).
11 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein the back surface ( 104 ) of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) comprises a plurality of ribs ( 103 ) configured to prevent slippage of the self-defense phone case ( 100 ).
12 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein the self-defense phone case ( 100 ) is made up of rubber.
13 . The self-defense phone case ( 100 ) of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of notches 208 A, 208 B) of each of the plurality of corners ( 206 A- 206 D) of the shield ( 200 ) is sized from 5 mm to 8 mm.
