Abstract

A mobile, stationary and/or temporary barrier (9) having mobile obstacles for the protection of crowds. The temporary barrier (9) includes a plurality of mobile obstacles (1). The mobile obstacles (1) are self-propelled and each include an extendible carriage and a drive. Connection elements are provided for connecting the mobile obstacles (1) to one another, and the connection elements (5) are elastic in order to absorb kinetic energy.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A temporary barrier ( 9 ), comprising:
mobile obstacles ( 1 ) for protecting crowds; the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) are self-propelled and each include an extendible carriage and a drive; and connection elements for connecting the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) to one another, the connection elements ( 5 ) are elastic in order to absorb kinetic energy.

2 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the connection elements ( 5 ) are deformable.

3 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the obstacles ( 1 ) are constructed with a sandwich structure.

4 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the obstacles ( 1 ) include an energy-absorbing material on surfaces thereof.

5 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the obstacles ( 1 ) are equipped with shock-absorbing elements.

6 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising an apparatus ( 8 ) for generating an alarm.

7 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising sensors ( 2 ) on or in the obstacles.

8 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the obstacles ( 1 ) have an electrical power supply.

9 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) have a face adapted to direct an impacting vehicle toward ground.

10 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) have a face which is adapted to distribute forces of an impacting vehicle.

11 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) have an adhesive layer that is adapted to adhere to ground.

12 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) have support elements formed as booms.

13 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) have a platform that is configured to allow an impacting vehicle to drive thereon.

14 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) have a capturing element.

15 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a capturing device including at least one of a capturing net or a capturing hose.

16 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a receptacle arrangement for the mobile obstacles ( 1 ), wherein the receptacle arrangement comprises a base.

17 . The temporary barrier as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the mobile obstacles ( 1 ) include receivers ( 4 ) for the connection elements.
