Abstract

A tracking shoe device is provided. The device is comprised of a shoe comprised of a tracker in wireless communication with a mobile application. The tracker provides the current GPS location of the shoe to the mobile application, wherein the location can be viewed on a map interface. The accelerometer may also provide data related to walking, running, or exercising such as but not limited to total distance travel, speed, and time.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A tracking shoe device comprising:
 a shoe;   a mobile application;   a GPS tracker positioned within the shoe, the GPS tracker comprised of a transmitter in wireless communication with the mobile application;   a battery positioned within the shoe, wherein the battery supplies power to the tracker.   
     
     
         2 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 1 , wherein the shoe is comprised of a running shoe, a trail running shoe, a cross-trainer, a basketball shoe, a soccer cleat, a football cleat, a baseball cleat, a tennis shoe, a walking shoe, a golf shoe, a cycling shoe, a wrestling shoe, a climbing shoe, a boot, an ankle boot, a knee-high boot, a combat boot, a rain boot, a snow boot, a sandal, a flip-flop, a gladiator sandal, an espadrille, a heel, a stiletto, a wedge, a kitten heel, a loafer, a ballet flat, a moccasin, an oxford, a brogue, a slipper, a clog, or a mule. 
     
     
         3 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 1 , wherein the GPS tracker records the real-time GPS location of the shoe. 
     
     
         4 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 3 , wherein the real-time GPS location of the shoe is transmitted to the mobile application. 
     
     
         5 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 4 , wherein the real-time GPS location of the shoe can be viewed on a map interface of the mobile application. 
     
     
         6 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 5 , wherein the map interface is comprised of a 2D map or a 3D map. 
     
     
         7 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 1 , wherein the battery is comprised of a removable battery. 
     
     
         8 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 1 , wherein the battery can be recharged via a charging port. 
     
     
         9 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 1  further comprised of a charging pad comprised of an induction charging element. 
     
     
         10 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 9 , wherein the induction charging element recharges the battery. 
     
     
         11 . A tracking shoe device comprising:
 a shoe;   a mobile application;   a GPS tracker positioned within the shoe, the GPS tracker comprised of a first transmitter in wireless communication with the mobile application;   an accelerometer positioned within the shoe, the accelerometer comprised of a second transmitter in wireless communication with the mobile application;   a battery positioned within the shoe, wherein the battery supplies power to the tracker; and   a charging platform comprised of an induction charging element.   
     
     
         12 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 11 , wherein the accelerometer records the speed of the shoe. 
     
     
         13 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 12 , wherein the speed can be viewed on the mobile application. 
     
     
         14 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 11 , wherein the accelerometer records a distance the shoe travels. 
     
     
         15 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 14 , wherein the distance can be viewed via the mobile application. 
     
     
         16 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 11 , wherein the accelerometer records a total time the shoe has traveled. 
     
     
         17 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 16 , wherein the total time can be viewed via the mobile application. 
     
     
         18 . The tracking shoe device of  claim 11 , wherein the battery is comprised of a USB charging port. 
     
     
         19 . A method of using a tracking shoe device, the method comprising the following steps:
 providing a tracking shoe device comprised of a shoe comprised of a battery, a tracker comprised of a first transmitter, an accelerometer comprised of a second transmitter, and a mobile application in wireless communication with the first transmitter and the second transmitter;   putting on the shoe and walking, running, or traveling a distance; and   viewing the mobile application to view a length of a distance traveled, a speed during the distance traveled, a time spent traveling the distance traveled, an amount of calories burned while traveling the distance traveled, and a GPS location of the shoe.   
     
     
         20 . The method of using a tracking shoe device of  claim 19  further comprised of a step of charging the battery via placing the shoe on a charging platform comprised of an induction charging element.
