Device for heating a liquid and/or for warming air, and side channel blower

Abstract

Example embodiments relate to a device for heating a liquid and/or warming air, including a burner device and an air conveying device. The air conveying device conveys combustion air to the burner device. The air conveying device has a carrier housing, a movable fan wheel, an air inlet, and an air outlet. The carrier housing has a conveying channel which is connected to the air inlet and the air outlet. The fan wheel is arranged so as to be rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the air conveying device and has a blade structure. The air outlet is arranged in a central area of the air conveying device and extends through the fan wheel. The invention further relates to a side channel blower.

1 . A device for heating a liquid and/or for warming air, comprising:
 a burner device and an air conveying device,   wherein the burner device generates thermal energy by the combustion of a fuel-air mixture in a combustion chamber,   wherein the air conveying device conveys combustion air to the burner device,   wherein the air conveying device has a carrier housing, a movable fan wheel, an air inlet, and an air outlet,   wherein the carrier housing has a conveying channel which is connected to the air inlet and the air outlet,   wherein the fan wheel is arranged so as to be rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the air conveying device and has a blade structure,   wherein the air outlet is arranged in a central area of the air conveying device, and   wherein the air outlet extends through the fan wheel.   
     
     
         2 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein the air conveying device is configured as a side channel blower. 
     
     
         3 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein the air inlet is arranged at a lateral area of the air conveying device. 
     
     
         4 . The device according to  claim 1 , wherein the air outlet extends through the carrier housing. 
     
     
         5 . A side channel blower having a carrier housing, a movable fan wheel, an air inlet, and an air outlet,
 wherein the carrier housing has a conveying channel which is connected to the air inlet and the air outlet,   wherein the fan wheel is arranged so as to be rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the air conveying device and has a blade structure,   wherein the air inlet is arranged at a lateral area of the air conveying device,   wherein the air outlet is arranged in a central area of the air conveying device, and   wherein the air outlet extends through the fan wheel.   
     
     
         6 . The side channel blower according to  claim 5 , wherein the air outlet extends through the carrier housing.
