Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A post-hole stencil device comprising:
a body; and a first removable area attached to the body via a first perforation.

2 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 1 , wherein the removable area is comprised of a square shape.

3 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 1 , wherein the removable area is comprised of a circular shape.

4 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 1 , wherein the body is comprised of a 3-ply plastic material.

5 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 1 , wherein the body is comprised of a transparent material.

6 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 1 further comprised of a second removable area.

7 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 6 , wherein the second removable area is attached to the body.

8 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 7 , wherein the second removable area is aligned and a distance away from the first removable area.

9 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 7 , wherein the second removable area attaches to the body via a second perforation.

         10 . A post-hole stencil device comprising:
a body; a first removable area attached to the body via a first perforation; a second removable area positioned within the first removable area, wherein the second removable area is attached to the first removable area via a second perforation; and a stake.

11 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 10 , wherein the first removable area is comprised of a square shape.

12 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 10 , wherein the first removable area is comprised of a circular shape.

13 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 10 , wherein the second removable area is comprised of a square shape.

14 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 10 , wherein the second removable area is comprised of a circular shape.

15 . The post-hole stencil device of claim 10 , wherein the ground stake is comprised of a pointed ground stake.

16 . A method of using a post-hole stencil device, the method comprising the following steps:
providing a post-hole stencil device comprised of a body comprised of a removable area removably attached to the body via a perforation; unrolling a portion of the body from around a roll and securing the portion of the body to a ground surface via a first stake; unrolling a remainder of the body along a desired fence path while pulling the body flat and securing the body to the ground surface using a second stake; removing the removable area from the body; spraying a spray paint over the portion of the body where the removable area once was to create a painted area on the ground surface that was exposed by the removal of the removable area; removing the first stake and the second stake from the body and the ground surface such that the body can be removed from the ground surface and rolled back around the roll; and digging into the ground surface at the spray-painted area of the ground surface and installing a fence post at the spray-painted area of the ground surface.

17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the removable area attaches to the body via a perforation.

18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the removable area is comprised of a square shape.

19 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the removable area is comprised of a circular shape.

20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the body is comprised of 3-play plastic material.
