Product and method for football training

Abstract

An improved football may include a combination of printed matter or images on a football to help instruct hand placement for proper throwing and catching. An improved football may also include a combination of prints or images that supports concentration and focus during catching a football. Printed visual indicators may functionally improve teachability, concentration, and focus during the throwing and catching process.

I/we claim: 
     
         1 . A product for football training, comprising:
 at least one ball comprising a first end opposite a second end;   at least one first visual indicator comprising at least one hand placement indicator or digit indicator; and   at least one second visual indicator comprising at least one of a shape, symbol, number, or letter.   
     
     
         2 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the at least one first visual indicator is approximately near the first end. 
     
     
         3 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the at least one second visual indicator is approximately near the second end. 
     
     
         4 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the at least one ball comprises laces. 
     
     
         5 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 4 , wherein the at least one first visual indicator is approximately near the laces. 
     
     
         6 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 1 , further comprising:
 at least one third visual indicator comprising at least one hand placement indicator or digit indicator.   
     
     
         7 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 6 , wherein the at least one third visual indicator is approximately near the second end. 
     
     
         8 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 7 , wherein the at least one first visual indicator and the at least one third visual indicator at least partially overlap. 
     
     
         9 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the at least one ball is a football. 
     
     
         10 . A product for football training, comprising:
 a football comprising an outer surface, laces, and a first end opposite a second end, the laces being positioned approximately between the first and the second end;   at least one first visual indicator comprising at least one first hand placement indicator and first digit placement indicator disposed on the outer surface approximately near the first end;   at least one second visual indicator comprising at least one of a shape, symbol, number, or letter disposed on the outer surface approximately near the second end; and   at least one third visual indicator comprising at least one second hand placement indicator and second digit placement indicator disposed on the outer surface approximately near the second end.   
     
     
         11 . A product for football training as in  claim 10 , wherein the first digit placement indicator comprises a plurality of first digit placement indicators. 
     
     
         12 . A product for football training as in  claim 10 , wherein the second digit placement indicator comprises a plurality of second digit placement indicators. 
     
     
         13 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 10 , wherein the at least one first visual indicator and the at least one third visual indicator at least partially overlap. 
     
     
         14 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 10 , wherein at least one of the at least one first visual indicator, at least one second visual indicator, or at least one third visual indicator is reflective. 
     
     
         15 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 10 , wherein the at least one first visual indicator comprises a visual representation of a hand including five fingers. 
     
     
         16 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 10 , wherein the at least one first visual indicator comprises a visual representation of a first hand including five fingers and a second hand including five fingers. 
     
     
         17 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 10 , wherein the at least one third visual indicator comprises a visual representation of a hand including five fingers. 
     
     
         18 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 10 , wherein the at least one second visual indicator is a plurality of second visual indicators comprising at least one of a shape, symbol, number, or letter. 
     
     
         19 . A product for football training as set forth in  claim 10 , wherein the product is constructed and arranged for improving teachability, concentration, and focus during a throwing or catching process. 
     
     
         20 . A product for football training, comprising:
 a football comprising an outer surface, laces, and a first end opposite a second end, the laces being positioned approximately between the first and the second end;   at least one first visual indicator comprising at least one first hand placement indicator and a first plurality of digit placement indicators disposed on the outer surface approximately near the first end;   at least one second visual indicator comprising at least one of a shape, symbol, number, or letter disposed on the outer surface approximately near the second end; and   at least one third visual indicator comprising at least one second hand placement indicator and a second plurality of digit placement indicators disposed on the outer surface approximately near the second end.
