Dual Deodorant Perfume Dispenser Apparatus

Abstract

A dual-function dispenser for separately dispensing deodorant and perfume or cologne from replaceable cartridges within a modular housing is provided. The dispenser comprises a deodorant part with a dispensing stick mounted on a slider mechanism and a perfume or cologne part with a diffuser spray mechanism. The two parts of the housing are detachably connected, allowing for easy replacement of cartridges and enabling users to carry the parts separately if desired. The invention offers a compact, versatile, and portable personal care solution for users who wish to apply both deodorant and fragrance.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A dual-function dispenser apparatus for deodorant and perfume or cologne, comprising:
 a modular housing having a first part and a second part;   a deodorant applicator housed within the first part of the modular housing, comprising a porous stick and a deodorant cartridge;   a perfume or cologne spray dispenser housed within the second part of the modular housing;   a connection mechanism that detachably couples the first part of the housing to the second part of the housing;   an extender mechanism associated with the first part of the housing, the extender mechanism forming an adjustable support for the porous stick and being configured to allow for selective extension and retraction of the porous stick with respect to the housing; and   a spray dispenser mechanism associated with the second part of the housing for dispensing the perfume or cologne.   
     
     
         2 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the connection mechanism comprises a threaded protrusion on one part of the housing and a corresponding threaded cavity on the other part of the housing. 
     
     
         3 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the connection mechanism comprises a hinged joint. 
     
     
         4 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the housing has a cylindrical profile. 
     
     
         5 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the housing has an oval-shaped profile. 
     
     
         6 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising a removable lid for the perfume or cologne spray dispenser. 
     
     
         7 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising a removable lid for the deodorant applicator. 
     
     
         8 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the extender mechanism is a slider mechanism. 
     
     
         9 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 8 , wherein the slider mechanism comprises a lengthwise slit in the housing and a slidable button disposed on an exterior of the housing for actuating the porous stick. 
     
     
         10 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 9 , wherein the slider mechanism further comprises a ratcheted silicone guide bar running along the length of the slit for holding the porous stick at predetermined positions. 
     
     
         11 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the porous stick is secured in place by a ringed part at a top of the deodorant cartridge and a base. 
     
     
         12 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein the base includes a hollow cylindrical opening for receiving and holding the porous stick and coupling it to the deodorant supply. 
     
     
         13 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the spray dispenser mechanism comprises a pump and nozzle assembly with an inlet dipping into the perfume or cologne cartridge reservoir. 
     
     
         14 . The dual-function dispenser apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the deodorant applicator is adapted to accommodate a roll-on deodorant applicator or a gel deodorant applicator.
