Eyeliner artificial lash extensions

Abstract

An artificial lash extension system includes first lash extensions designed for a first arrangement at an underside of first natural eyelashes of a first eye of a user, the first arrangement to create an appearance of eyeliner at the first eye. Each of the first lash extensions include first artificial hairs. At least a first subset of the first artificial hairs are slanted in a first direction. The system includes second lash extensions designed for a second arrangement at an underside of second natural eyelashes of a second eye of the user, the second arrangement to create an appearance of eyeliner at the second eye. Each of the second lash extensions include second artificial hairs. At least a second subset of the second artificial hairs are slanted in a second direction that is opposite the first direction.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An artificial lash extension system, comprising:
 a first plurality of lash extensions designed for a first arrangement at an underside of first upper natural eyelashes of a first eye of a user, the first arrangement to create an appearance of eyeliner at the first eye, each of the first plurality of lash extensions comprising:
 a first plurality of clusters of artificial hairs, wherein at least a first subset of the first plurality of clusters are slanted in a first direction with respect to a first base; and 
   a second plurality of lash extensions designed for a second arrangement at an underside of second upper natural eyelashes of a second eye of the user, the second arrangement to create an appearance of eyeliner at the second eye, each of the second plurality of lash extensions comprising:
 a second plurality of clusters of artificial hairs, wherein in at least a second subset of the second plurality of clusters are slanted in a second direction with respect to a second base, wherein the second direction is opposite the first direction, and wherein a first layout of the first plurality of clusters is different than a second layout of the second plurality of clusters. 
   
     
     
         2 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 1 , wherein each of the first plurality of lash extensions and the second plurality of lash extensions comprise:
 a front side, a first end, and a second end opposite the first end;   each of the first plurality of lash extensions comprising:
 the first base from which the first plurality of clusters protrude, wherein the first subset of clusters slant in the first direction towards the first end; and 
   each of the second plurality of lash extensions comprising:
 a second base from which the second plurality of clusters protrude, wherein the second subset of clusters slant in the second direction towards the second end. 
   
     
     
         3 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 2 , wherein the first layout of the first plurality of clusters of each of the first plurality of lash extensions is asymmetric about a first center axis bisecting the first base, and wherein the second layout of the second plurality of clusters of each of the second plurality of lash extensions is asymmetric about a second center axis bisecting the second base. 
     
     
         4 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 3 , wherein the first plurality of lash extensions in the first arrangement is a mirror image of the second plurality of lash extensions in the second arrangement. 
     
     
         5 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 2 , wherein top sides of the first base and the second base of each of the second plurality of lash extensions are substantially flat to facilitate an attachment of the first plurality of lash extensions and the second plurality of lash extensions to the underside of a respective one of the first upper natural eyelashes or the second upper natural eyelashes. 
     
     
         6 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a third subset of the first plurality of clusters;   one or more first intersecting portions of the first plurality of clusters, wherein at the one or more first intersecting portions the third subset of clusters cross the first subset of clusters that are slanted in the first direction;   a fourth subset of the second plurality of clusters; and   one or more second intersecting portions of the second plurality of clusters, wherein at the one or more second intersecting portions the fourth subset of clusters cross the second subset of clusters that are slanted in the second direction.   
     
     
         7 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 6 , wherein the first subset of clusters are longer than the third subset of clusters, and wherein the second subset of clusters are longer than the fourth subset of clusters. 
     
     
         8 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 6 , wherein at least some artificial hairs of the third subset of clusters have diameters that are smaller than at least some artificial hairs of the first subset of clusters. 
     
     
         9 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 1 , wherein in the first arrangement each of the first plurality of lash extensions is configured for arrangement adjacent to another one of the first plurality of lash extensions, and wherein in the second arrangement each of the second plurality of lash extensions is configured for arrangement adjacent to another one of the second plurality of lash extensions. 
     
     
         10 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 9 , wherein in a first specified order of the first arrangement artificial hairs of the first subset of clusters of each adjacent one of the first plurality of lash extensions are longer than artificial hairs of the first subset of clusters of a preceding one of the first plurality of lash extensions, and wherein in a second specified order of the second arrangement artificial hairs of the second subset of clusters of each adjacent one of the second plurality of lash extensions are longer than artificial hairs of the second subset of clusters of a preceding one of the second plurality of lash extensions. 
     
     
         11 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 10 , wherein in the first specified order the first subset of clusters of each of the first plurality of lash extensions are designed to form a slope in the first direction, and wherein in the second specified order the second subset of clusters of each of the second plurality of lash extensions are designed to form a slope in the second direction. 
     
     
         12 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 1 , wherein the first subset of clusters of one of the first plurality of lash extensions is substantially a same length as the first subset of clusters of any other one of the first plurality of lash extensions. 
     
     
         13 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 1 , wherein the first subset of clusters of one of the first plurality of lash extensions is a different length from the first subset of clusters of any other one of the first plurality of lash extensions. 
     
     
         14 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 1 , wherein artificial hairs among the first subset of clusters are a different length, and wherein the first subset of clusters are designed to form a slope in the first direction. 
     
     
         15 . The artificial lash extension system of  claim 14 , wherein in a first specified order of the first arrangement the first subset of clusters of adjacent ones of the first plurality of lash extensions continue the slope of the first subset of clusters of preceding ones of the first plurality of lash extensions. 
     
     
         16 . A method, comprising:
 obtaining a first plurality of lash extensions of a set of lash extensions, each of the first plurality of lash extensions comprising a first plurality of clusters, wherein at least a first subset of the first plurality of clusters are slanted in a first direction with respect to a first base; and   applying an adhesive to an underside of first upper natural eyelashes of a first eye of a user;   arranging the first plurality of lash extensions in a first arrangement at the underside of the first upper natural eyelashes of the first eye, wherein in the first arrangement the first subset of clusters of the first plurality of lash extensions slant towards an outer corner of the first eye, and wherein in the first arrangement the first plurality of lash extensions to create an appearance of eyeliner at the first eye; and   obtaining a second plurality of lash extensions of the set of lash extensions for arrangement at a second eye, each of the second plurality of lash extensions comprising a second plurality of clusters, wherein at least a second subset of the second plurality of clusters are slanted in a second direction with respect to a second base, wherein the second direction is opposite the first direction, and wherein a first layout of the first plurality of clusters is different than a second layout of the second plurality of clusters.   
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16 , further comprising:
 applying the adhesive to an underside of second natural upper eyelashes of the second eye of the user; and   arranging the second plurality of lash extensions in a second arrangement at the underside of the second upper natural eyelashes of the second eye, wherein in the second arrangement the second subset of clusters of the second plurality of lash extensions slant towards an outer corner of the second eye, and wherein in the second arrangement the second plurality of artificial lash extensions to create an appearance of eyeliner at the second eye.   
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , comprising:
 affixing the first plurality of lash extensions arranged in the first arrangement to the underside of the first upper natural eyelashes of the first eye; and   affixing the second plurality of lash extensions arranged in the second arrangement to the underside of the second upper natural eyelashes of the second eye.   
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein arranging the first plurality of lash extensions in the first arrangement at the underside of the first upper natural eyelashes of the first eye, comprises:
 arranging the first plurality of lash extensions adjacent to one another in a specified order beginning with an initial lash extension of the first plurality of lash extensions arranged at one of the outer corner or an inner corner of the first eye and ending with a last lash extension of the first plurality of lash extensions arranged at an other one of the outer corner or the inner corner of the first eye.   
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 19 , wherein in the specified order the first subset of clusters of the first plurality of lash extensions taper from the outer corner to the inner corner of the first eye.
