Vaporizing Device With Integrated Handle
Abstract
A vaporizing device includes a heating adapter connector, a mouthpiece, a housing, and a handle. The housing is disposed between the heating adapter connector and the mouthpiece. The handle is attached to the housing and extends away from the housing. The handle provides dedicated hand support for ease of operation. An airflow path extends from an inlet of the heating adapter connector, through the housing, and out of a mouthpiece outlet of the mouthpiece. No airflow path between the inlet and outlet extends through the handle. In one example, the mouthpiece includes a percolator causing airflow to change direction at least once. During operation, a user grasps the vaporizing device using the handle and attaches a heating tip to the heating adapter connector. Next, the user activates the heating tip, vaporizes smoking material, and inhales smoke/vapor through the heating adapter connector, through the housing, and out of the mouthpiece.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A vaporizer device comprising:
a heating adapter connector having an inlet; a mouthpiece having an mouthpiece outlet; a housing, wherein the housing is disposed between the heating adapter connector and the mouthpiece, wherein an airflow path extends from the inlet, through the housing, through the mouthpiece, and out of the mouthpiece outlet; and a handle, wherein the handle is attached to the housing and extends away from the airflow path.
2 . The vaporizer device of claim 1 , wherein the handle comprises a hand contact surface, and wherein no airflow path extends between the heating adapter connector and the mouthpiece via the handle.
3 . The vaporizer device of claim 1 , wherein the handle extends away from the airflow path.
4 . The vaporizer device of claim 1 , wherein the housing has a first end and a second end, wherein the heating adapter connector is disposed at the first end of the housing, wherein the mouthpiece is disposed at the second end of the housing, and wherein the first end of the housing is opposite the second end of the housing.
5 . The vaporizer device of claim 4 , wherein the mouthpiece further comprises:
a percolator, wherein the airflow path extends through the percolator and changes direction at least once.
6 . The vaporizer device of claim 1 , wherein the heating adapter connector is configured to receive a heating element.
7 . The vaporizer device of claim 6 , further comprising:
a power switch; and a battery, wherein when the power switch is enabled, the battery is discharged thereby heating the heating element.
8 . The vaporizer device of claim 7 , further comprising:
a charging port, wherein the charging port is used to charge the battery.
9 . The vaporizer device of claim 1 , further comprising:
a control input that controls an operating characteristic; and a display that indicates an operating characteristic value.
10 . A method comprising:
forming a vaporizer device having a heating adapter connector, a mouthpiece, a housing, and a handle, wherein air flows from the heating adapter connector to the mouthpiece via the housing.
11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein no air flows from the heating adapter connector to the handle.
12 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the handle extends away from the housing.
13 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the housing has a first end and a second end, wherein the heating adapter connector is disposed at the first end of the housing, and wherein the mouthpiece is disposed at the second end of the housing.
14 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the heating adapter connector has an inlet, wherein the mouthpiece includes a mouthpiece outlet and a percolator, and wherein air flows from the inlet of the heating adapter connector, through the housing, through the percolator of the mouthpiece, and out of the mouthpiece outlet.
15 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the percolator of the mouthpiece causes air to change direction at least once.
16 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the heating adapter connector is configured to receive a heating tip.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the vaporizer device also includes a power switch and a battery, wherein when the power switch is enabled, the battery is discharged thereby heating the heating tip.
18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the vaporizer device also includes a control input and a display, wherein the control input controls an operating characteristic of the vaporizer device, and wherein the output indicates an operating characteristic value.
19 . A vaporizing device comprising:
a housing that extends between a heating adapter connector and a mouthpiece; and means for providing hand support to a user holding the vaporizing device, wherein air flows between the heating adapter connector and the mouthpiece without passing through the means.
20 . The vaporizing device of claim 19 , wherein the means is a handle that extends away from the housing.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
