Method and device for operating terminal in wireless communication system
Abstract
A method of operating a central unit (CU) in a wireless communication system may comprise obtaining, by the CU, a first slice group identifier (ID) of a first terminal and slice mapping related information from a distributed unit (DU), transferring the first slice group ID and the slice mapping related information to an access and mobility management function (AMF) supporting the first slice group ID, obtaining mapping information related to a slice list supported by the first slice group for the first terminal from the AMF, and transferring the mapping information related to the slice list supported by the first slice group for the first terminal obtained from the AMF to the DU.
Claims

18 . A method performed by a central unit (CU) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving, from a distributed unit (DU), at least one of an identifier (ID) of a slice access stratum (AS) group of a terminal and first information related to slice mapping; transmitting, to an access and mobility management function (AMF), the at least one of the ID and the first information related to slice mapping; receiving, from the AMF, second information related to a slice list of the slice AS group for the terminal; and transferring, to the DU, the second information related to the slice list of the slice AS group for the terminal obtained from the AMF.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the ID corresponds to the slice AS group composed of the slice list based on a supported slice.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the first information related to slice mapping includes at least one of frequency information or priority information of a frequency available in the slice AS group corresponding to the ID.
21 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the DU transmits the ID of the slice AS group and the first information related to slice mapping to the terminal,
wherein the terminal transmits a first random access preamble corresponding to the ID including a network slice used by the terminal among the ID of the slice AS group to the DU, and wherein the DU recognizes the ID based on the first random access preamble.
22 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the CU obtains a first indicator indicating whether the terminal has a capability for supporting a slice AS group related feature and indicates information about whether the terminal has the capability for supporting the slice AS group related feature to the AMF.
23 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the terminal indicates terminal capability information regarding whether the terminal supports a slice AS group related feature to the AMF through a non-access stratum (NAS) message.
24 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the first indicator indicates whether the terminal supports a slice based cell reselection procedure and a slice based random access procedure.
25 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the AMF obtains the second information by determining the second information.
26 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the AMF obtains the second information by transferring the ID and the first information to a network slice selection function (NSSF), and receiving the second information that is determined by the NSSF.
27 . The method of claim 18 , wherein, in case that the CU controls the terminal to transition to a radio resource control (RRC) idle state, the CU transfers at least one of a terminal-specific slice group, frequency information of the specific slice AS group or priority information to the terminal.
28 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the CU is connected to at least one DU.
29 . A central unit (CU) in a wireless communication system, the CU comprising:
at least one transceiver; at least one processor; and at least one memory operatively connected to the at least one processor and configured to store instructions to enable the at least one processor to perform specific operation when executed, wherein the specific operation comprises: receive, from a distributed unit (DU), at least one of an identifier (ID) of a slice access stratum (AS) group of a terminal and first information related to slice mapping; transmit, to an access and mobility management function (AMF), the at least one of the ID and the first information related to slice mapping; receive, from the AMF, second information related to a slice list of the slice AS group for the terminal; and transferring, to the DU, the second information related to the slice list of the slice AS group for the terminal obtained from the AMF.
30 . A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
obtaining at least one of an identifier (ID) of a slice access stratum (AS) group and first information related to slice mapping; performing a random access procedure in a network by using a random access channel (RACH) resource that is determined based on the ID; and performing a registration in the network.
31 . The method of claim 30 , further comprising:
indicating capability information indicating whether the terminal supports a slice AS group related feature to an access and mobility management function (AMF).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
