Abstract

A touch apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a touch panel that includes a plurality of first touch electrodes extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction that crosses the first direction, and a plurality of second touch electrodes extending in the second direction and arranged in the first direction; and a touch driver that applies a first driving signal for generation of a resonance signal of a stylus pen to the touch panel in a first section, and receives a detection signal from the plurality of first touch electrodes and the plurality of second touch electrodes in a second section that is next to the first section.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A touch device, comprising:
 a touch panel including a plurality of touch electrodes,   a touch driver configured to apply a first driving signal to at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in a first period, apply a second driving signal to at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in a second period after the first period, and receive a detection signal from at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in the second period,   wherein a frequency of the first driving signal and a frequency of the second driving signal are substantially the same, and a duty ratio of the first driving signal and a duty ratio of the second driving signal are different from each other.   
     
     
         2 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein
 the duty ratio of the first driving signal is 1:1, and the duty ratio of the second driving signal comprises at least one of a:2b+1, a:2b+2, a:2b+3, a:2b+4, a:3b+1, a:2b+3+1, a:2b+3, and a:2b+1, where a and b are integers.   
     
     
         3 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein
 the touch driver is further configured to receive the detection signal when the second driving signal is in disable level.   
     
     
         4 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of touch electrodes includes a plurality of first touch electrodes and a plurality of second touch electrodes, and
 wherein the touch driver is further configured to apply the first driving signal to the plurality of first touch electrodes in the first period and apply the second driving signal to the plurality of first touch electrodes in the second period, and receive the detection signal from the plurality of second touch electrodes in the second period.   
     
     
         5 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein
 the plurality of first touch electrodes extends in a first direction and are arranged in a second direction that crosses the first direction, and the plurality of second touch electrodes extends in the second direction and are arranged in the first direction.   
     
     
         6 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein
 the touch driver is further configured to apply the first driving signal having the same phase to the plurality of first touch electrodes in the first period.   
     
     
         7 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein
 the touch driver is further configured to receive the detection signal from the plurality of second touch electrodes simultaneously in the second period.   
     
     
         8 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a controller configured to obtain a touch coordinate information based on the detection signal.   
     
     
         9 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein
 the controller is further configured to determine a type of a touch object based on the detection signal.   
     
     
         10 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the touch driver comprises:
 a differential amplifier connected to two touch electrodes; and   an ADC configured to convert a differentially amplified signal to a digital signal.   
     
     
         11 . The touch device as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein the two touch electrodes are spaced apart from each other with at least one touch electrode interposed therebetween. 
     
     
         12 . A touch system, comprising:
 a touch device including a touch panel including a plurality of touch electrodes, and a touch driver configured to apply a first driving signal to at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in a first period, apply a second driving signal to at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in a second period after the first period, and receive a detection signal from at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in the second period; and   a stylus pen including a resonance circuit;   wherein a frequency of the first driving signal and a frequency of the second driving signal are substantially the same as the resonance frequency of the resonance circuit, and a duty ratio of the first driving signal and a duty ratio of the second driving signal are different from each other.   
     
     
         13 . The touch system as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein
 the duty ratio of the first driving signal is 1:1, and the duty ratio of the second driving signal comprises at least one of a:2b+1, a:2b+2, a:2b+3, a:2b+4, a:3b+1, a:2b+3+1, a:2b+3, and a:2b+1, where a and b are integers.   
     
     
         14 . The touch system as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein
 the touch driver is further configured to receive the detection signal when the second driving signal is in disable level.   
     
     
         15 . The touch system as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein
 the touch device further includes a controller configured to obtain a touch coordinate information of the stylus pen based on the detection signal.   
     
     
         16 . The touch system as claimed in  claim 15 , wherein
 the controller is further configured to determine whether a type of a touch object is the stylus pen based on the detection signal.   
     
     
         17 . A touch detection method, comprising:
 applying a first driving signal to at least one of a plurality of touch electrodes in a first period;   applying a second driving signal to at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in a second period after the first period; and   receive a detection signal from at least one of the plurality of touch electrodes in the second period;   wherein a frequency of the first driving signal and a frequency of the second driving signal are substantially the same, and a duty ratio of the first driving signal and a duty ratio of the second driving signal are different from each other.   
     
     
         18 . The touch detection method as claimed in  claim 17 , wherein
 the duty ratio of the first driving signal is 1:1, and the duty ratio of the second driving signal comprises at least one of a:2b+1, a:2b+2, a:2b+3, a:2b+4, a:3b+1, a:2b+3+1, a:2b+3, and a:2b+1, where a and b are integers.   
     
     
         19 . The touch detection method as claimed in  claim 17 , wherein
 the receiving a detection signal comprises receiving the detection signal when the second driving signal is in disable level.   
     
     
         20 . The touch detection method as claimed in  claim 17 , further comprising:
 obtaining a touch coordinate information based on the detection signal.
