Archery bow holder
Abstract
An archery bow holder that is configured to releasably secure an archery bow on a bow stand and maintain the archery bow in an upright position. The archery bow holder includes a frame support member that is configured to operably couple to a support beam on an archery bow stand. The frame support member has operably coupled thereto a bow support assembly. The bow support assembly includes a first support member and a second support member. The second support member is configured to be movable relative to the first support member wherein the second support member is operable to move towards and away from the first support member. The bow support assembly includes a movement member operably coupled to the first support member and the second support member. Fasteners facilitate the operable coupling of the movement member to the first support member and second support member.

4 . The archery bow holder as recited in claim 3 , wherein said second support member of said bow support assembly includes a first portion and a second portion, said first portion and said second portion of said second support member being perpendicularly oriented.
5 . The archery bow holder as recited in claim 4 , wherein said frame support member includes opposing sidewalls, said opposing sidewalls extending downward from opposite lateral edges of said top wall of said frame support member.
6 . The archery bow holder as recited in claim 5 , wherein said top wall of said frame support member further includes a keeper, said keeper being operably coupled to said movement member.
7 . The archery bow holder as recited in claim 6 , wherein said first direction of said second support member is towards said first support member.
8 . The archery bow holder as recited in claim 7 , wherein said second portion of said second support member further includes a fastener secured to a bottom surface thereof, said fastener configured to operably couple to said movement member.
9 . The archery bow holder as recited in claim 8 , wherein said second direction of said second support member is away from said first support member.
10 . The archery bow holder as recited in claim 9 , wherein said first direction and said second direction of said second support member is executed through rotation of said movement member.
11 . The archery bow holder as recited in claim 10 , wherein said second portion of said first support member includes a fastener secured to a bottom surface thereof, said fastener secured to said bottom surface of said second portion of said first support member being operably coupled to said movement member.
12 . An archery bow holder configured to be coupled to an archery bow stand and releasably secure a bow in an upright position wherein the archery bow holder comprises:
a frame support member, said frame support member being configured to operably couple to a beam of an archery bow stand, said frame support member having opposing sidewalls with a top wall intermediate thereto, said frame support member being square u-shaped, said top wall having an upper surface, said opposing sidewalls being perpendicular to said top wall and extending downward therefrom; a bow support assembly, said bow support assembly being secured to an outer surface of said top wall of said frame support member, said bow support assembly including a first support member, wherein said first support member includes a first portion and a second portion, said first portion being perpendicular to said second portion, said first portion extending outward from said frame support member, said bow support assembly including a second support member, wherein said second support member includes a first portion and a second portion, said first portion and said second portion of said second support member being perpendicularly oriented, said first support member and said second support member being operably coupled to a movement member, said second support member being movable in a first direction and a second direction; wherein the bow support assembly is configured to bias a portion of an archery bow between said first support member and said second support member.
13 . The archery bow holder configured to be coupled to an archery bow stand as recited in claim 12 , wherein said top wall of said frame support member further includes a keeper, said keeper being operably coupled to said movement member.
14 . The archery bow holder configured to be coupled to an archery bow stand as recited in claim 13 , wherein said second portion of said first support member includes a leading edge distal to said first portion of said first support member, said second portion having a void present along a centerline thereof, said void extending from said leading edge towards said first portion of said first support member.
15 . The archery bow holder configured to be coupled to an archery bow stand as recited in claim 14 , wherein said first direction of said second support member is towards said first support member.
16 . The archery bow holder configured to be coupled to an archery bow stand as recited in claim 15 , wherein said second portion of said first support member includes a fastener secured to a bottom surface thereof, said fastener secured to said bottom surface of said second portion of said first support member being operably coupled to said movement member.
