Abstract

An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-forming substrate including one or more aerosol formers; and a wrapper, the wrapper being wrapped around the aerosol-forming substrate, the wrapper including a metal layer, the aerosol-forming substrate having an aerosol former content of greater than or equal to 40 percent by weight, and the metal layer having a thickness of greater than or equal to 2 nanometres and less than 2000 nanometres.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 15 . (canceled)

         16 . An aerosol-generating article, comprising:
an aerosol-forming substrate comprising one or more aerosol formers; and a wrapper, wherein the wrapper is wrapped around the aerosol-forming substrate, wherein the wrapper comprises a metal layer, wherein the aerosol-forming substrate has an aerosol former content of greater than or equal to 40 percent by weight, and wherein the metal layer has a thickness of greater than or equal to 2 nanometres and less than 2000 nanometres.

17 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the wrapper further comprises a paper layer.

18 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 17 , wherein the metal layer is radially inward of the paper layer.

19 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 17 , wherein the wrapper further comprises the metal layer deposited on the paper layer.

20 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the wrapper is wrapped around an entire length of the aerosol-forming substrate.

21 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the aerosol former content of the aerosol-forming substrate is greater than or equal to 50 percent by weight.

22 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the aerosol former content of the aerosol-forming substrate is greater than or equal to 60 percent by weight.

23 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the aerosol former content of the aerosol-forming substrate is between 40 percent by weight and 90 percent by weight.

24 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the aerosol former content of the aerosol-forming substrate is between 50 percent by weight and 80 percent by weight.

25 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the aerosol former content of the aerosol-forming substrate is greater than or equal to 100 milligrams.

26 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the one or more aerosol formers comprise one or more of glycerine and propylene glycol.

27 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , wherein the aerosol-forming substrate has a moisture content of greater than or equal to 10 percent by weight.

28 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , further comprising an outermost wrapper wrapped around at least the aerosol-forming substrate and the wrapper.

29 . The aerosol-generating article according to claim 16 , further comprising a susceptor element.
