Abstract
A method and apparatus for link monitoring in a wireless communication system. A wireless device receive a link monitoring configuration for measurements of a cell group, wherein the link monitoring configuration includes (i) a first index of a first radio resource among a periodic radio resource set, and (ii) information on a first pattern for a deactivated state. A wireless device performs link monitoring for the first radio resource with the first pattern based on the state of the cell group being the deactivated state.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving a link monitoring configuration for measurements of a cell group, wherein the link monitoring configuration includes (i) a first index of a first radio resource among a periodic radio resource set, and (ii) information on a first pattern for a deactivated state; determining a state of the cell group among the activated state and the deactivated state; and performing link monitoring for the first radio resource with the first pattern based on the state of the cell group being the deactivated state.
2 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the link monitoring configuration includes (i) a second index of a second radio resource among a periodic radio resource set, and (ii) information on a second pattern for a deactivated state.
3 . The method of claim 2 ,
wherein the second pattern is different from the first pattern.
4 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the first pattern includes a time pattern.
5 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the first pattern includes a frequency pattern.
6 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the first pattern includes both a time pattern and a frequency pattern.
7 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the first pattern is applicable for the periodic radio resource set.
8 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the link monitoring configuration includes information on multiple radio resources.
9 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the link monitoring configuration further includes a purpose related to a first radio resource.
10 . The method of claim 9 ,
wherein the purpose includes at least one of (i) RLF detection, (ii) BF detection, and (iii) both the RLF detection and the BF detection.
11 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the first radio resource includes a reference signal or a synchronization signal block (SSB).
12 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the cell group is a secondary cell group (SCG) or a master cell group (MCG).
13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises,
receiving a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration including a deactivation command for the cell group.
14 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the wireless device is in communication with at least one of a user equipment, a network, or an autonomous vehicle other than the wireless device.
15 . A wireless device in a wireless communication system comprising:
a transceiver; a memory; and at least one processor operatively coupled to the transceiver and the memory, and configured to: control the transceiver to receive a link monitoring configuration for measurements of a cell group, wherein the link monitoring configuration includes (i) a first index of a first radio resource among a periodic radio resource set, and (ii) information on a first pattern for a deactivated state; determine a state of the cell group among the activated state and the deactivated state; and perform link monitoring for the first radio resource with the first pattern based on the state of the cell group being the deactivated state.
16 . The wireless device of claim 15 ,
wherein the link monitoring configuration includes (i) a second index of a second radio resource among a periodic radio resource set, and (ii) information on a second pattern for a deactivated state.
17 . The wireless device of claim 16 ,
wherein the second pattern is different from the first pattern.
18 . The wireless device of claim 15 ,
wherein the first pattern includes a time pattern.
19 . The wireless device of claim 15 ,
wherein the first pattern includes a frequency pattern.
20 - 31 . (canceled)
32 . A base station in a wireless communication system comprising:
a transceiver; a memory; and a processor operatively coupled to the transceiver and the memory, and configured to: control the transceiver to transmit, to a wireless device, a link monitoring configuration for measurements of a cell group, wherein the link monitoring configuration includes (i) a first index of a first radio resource among a periodic radio resource set, and (ii) information on a first pattern for a deactivated state.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
