Abstract
A humidifier includes a humidifying device which generates humidified air; a water tank which has a water storage space open to an upper side, and supplies water to the humidifying device; and a water tank cover which covers the open upper side of the water tank, wherein the water tank cover comprises a water supply hole located in an upper side of the water storage space so that the supplied water falls into the water storage space, wherein the water supply hole is formed along a circumference of an upper end of the water tank.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A humidifier, comprising:
a water tank having:
a water storage space that stores water to generate humidified air; and
an upper side that is open; and
a water tank cover that covers at least a portion of the upper side of the water tank, wherein the water tank cover includes a water supply hole that is positioned above an upper side of the water storage space and is configured to allow the water to flow downward into the water storage space, and wherein the water supply hole is defined along at least a portion of a circumference of the upper end of the water tank.
2 . The humidifier of claim 1 , wherein the water supply hole is positioned further inward in a horizontal direction relative to the circumference of the upper end of the water tank.
3 . The humidifier of claim 1 , wherein the water tank cover includes:
a guide rim that is disposed above the upper end of the water tank and extends along at least a portion of the circumference of the upper end of the water tank; and a guide cover that is coupled to the guide rim and covers the upper side of the water storage space.
4 . The humidifier of claim 3 ,
wherein the guide cover includes a guide plate that covers the upper side of the water storage space and is inclined downward in a direction toward the water supply hole.
5 . The humidifier of claim 4 ,
wherein the guide cover includes a border wall that is spaced outwardly from an outer circumference of the guide plate and is coupled to the guide rim, and wherein the water supply hole is formed between the outer circumference of the guide plate and the border wall.
6 . The humidifier of claim 5 ,
wherein the guide plate includes a guide rib that protrudes upward from an edge of the guide plate and extends along at least a portion of the water supply hole.
7 . The humidifier of claim 3 ,
wherein at least a portion of the guide cover is transparent.
8 . The humidifier of claim 4 ,
wherein the guide rim includes a guide slope surface that is inclined downward toward a center of the guide plate.
9 . The humidifier of claim 8 ,
wherein the guide rim includes an inner peripheral wall that extends downward from at least a portion of an inner circumference of the guide slope surface.
10 . The humidifier of claim 9 ,
wherein the guide rim includes a fastening rib that is provided at a lower end of the inner peripheral wall, wherein the guide cover includes:
a border wall that is spaced outwardly from an outer circumference of the guide plate and is coupled to the guide rim; and
a fastening stopper that is defined at an upper end of the border wall, and wherein the fastening rib is detachably coupled to the fastening stopper.
11 . The humidifier of claim 1 , further comprising:
a case having an open upper side; and wherein a humidifying device that receives the water from the water tank and generates the humidified air is disposed inside the case, and wherein the water tank is disposed above the humidifying device, and a discharge flow path through which humidified air flows is defined between the case and the water tank.
12 . The humidifier of claim 11 ,
wherein the water tank cover includes:
a guide rim that is disposed above the upper end of the water tank extends along at least a portion of the circumference of the upper end of the water tank; and
a guide cover that is coupled to the guide rim and covers the upper side of the water storage space,
wherein the guide rim includes a guide slope surface inclined downward toward a center of the guide cover, and wherein an outer circumference of the guide slope surface is positioned further outward in a horizontal direction relative to the upper end of the water tank.
13 . The humidifier of claim 12 ,
wherein the case includes:
an outer shell that is spaced horizontally outward from the water tank; and
an inner shell that is disposed inside the outer shell and that accommodates the water tank,
wherein the discharge flow path includes:
a first discharge flow path that is defined between the water tank and the inner shell and through which the humidified air flows; and
a second discharge flow path that is defined between the inner shell and the outer shell, and
wherein the outer circumference of the guide slope surface is positioned further inward in the horizontal direction relative to an upper end of the inner shell.
14 . The humidifier of claim 13 , wherein the inner shell has a shell inlet through which the humidified air is received from the humidifying device.
15 . A humidifier, comprising:
a water tank that supplies water to generate humidified air, the water tank having:
a water storage space to store the water; and
an upper end that is opened;
a water tank cover provided at the upper end of the water tank; and a guide slope surface that extends along at least a portion of a circumference of the upper end of the water tank, and that is inclined downward toward a center axis of the water tank, wherein the water tank cover includes a water supply hole that is positioned above the water storage space and through which the water falls into the water storage space, and wherein the guide slope surface is provided below the water supply hole to guide the water falling from the water supply hole toward the water storage space.
16 . The humidifier of claim 15 , further comprising a water tank handle detachably coupled to the upper end of the water tank,
wherein the water tank handle includes a handle rim coupled to the upper end of the water tank; and wherein the second guide slope is included in the water tank handle and extends inward from the handle rim.
17 . The humidifier of claim 15 ,
wherein the water tank cover includes:
a guide rim that is disposed above the upper end of the water tank and extends along at least a portion of the circumference of the upper end of the water tank; and
a guide cover that is coupled to the guide rim and is positioned to cover an upper side of the water storage space, and
wherein the guide cover includes:
a guide plate that covers the upper side of the water storage space and is inclined downward in an outward direction; and
a border wall that is spaced outwardly from at least a portion of an outer circumference of the guide plate and is coupled to the guide rim.
18 . The humidifier of claim 17 , wherein an outer circumference of the guide slope surface is positioned further outward in a horizontal direction relative to the water supply hole.
19 . The humidifier of claim 18 , wherein an inner circumference of the guide slope surface is positioned further inward in the horizontal direction relative to the water supply hole.
20 . A humidifier, comprising:
a water tank including a wall that defines a storage space to receive water used to generate humidified air; a guide rim that is positioned above an upper end of the wall of the water tank and extends along the upper end of the wall; and a guide cover plate that is coupled to the guide rim and is positioned over the storage space, wherein an opening through which the water is flows into the storage space is defined between the guide rim and an outer edge of the guide cover plate.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
