Abstract
A garment including inflatable cushions for comfort and possibly protection is provided. The garment includes a torso section having a front section and a back section, a hood extending upward from the torso section and configured to substantially cover the head of the wearer, and one or more inflatable cushions placed in the back section. The inflatable cushions are configured to be inflated with fluid such as air, inert gas or inert liquid by using injection devices such as pumps and high pressure gas or fluid tanks. The inflatable cushions may be inflated by a wearer by using a mouthpiece or a blow tube.

1 . A garment, comprising:
a torso section comprising a front section and a back section, wherein the front section is configured to substantially cover a chest region and an abdominal region of a wearer and the back section is configured to substantially cover a back region of the wearer; one or more inflatable cushions internally placed in the back section, wherein the inflatable cushions are configured to be inflated by fluid; and one or more tubes internally placed in the back section and connected to the one or more inflatable cushions.
2 . The garment of claim 1 further comprises a hood extending upward from the torso section and configured to substantially cover the head of the wearer.
3 . The garment of claim 1 further comprises sleeve sections that are configured to substantially cover arms of the wearer.
4 . The garment of claim 1 wherein the fluid comprises air, inert gas, or inert liquid.
5 . The garment of claim 1 wherein the one or more inflatable cushions comprise:
a back shoulder cushion placed on a back neck/shoulder region of the back section;
an upper back cushion placed on an upper back region of the back section; and
a lower back cushion placed on a lower back region of the back section.
6 . The garment of claim 5 wherein the one or more inflatable cushions further comprise:
a left side upper back cushion placed on a left upper back region of the back section; and
a right side upper back cushion placed on a right upper back region of the back section.
7 . The garment of claim 1 wherein the one or more inflatable cushions are placed inside a fabric of the back section.
8 . The garment of claim 1 further comprising one or more additional inner layers attached to an inner side of a fabric of the back section, and configured to cover and hold the inflatable cushions at the inner side of the fabric of the back section.
9 . The garment of claim 8 , the additional inner layers are detachably attached to the inner side of the fabric of the back section.
10 . The garment of claim 1 wherein the one or more tubes comprise:
one or more internal tubes connecting the inflatable cushions to one another; and
at least one coupling tube configured to be coupled to an external device to inflate or deflate the one or more inflatable cushions.
11 . The garment of claim 10 wherein the at lest one coupling tube comprises a valve configured to open or close a passage of the fluid to the inflatable cushions.
12 . An air hoodie, comprising:
a body defining an interior space configured to receive a torso of a wearer; and a plurality of inflatable cushions embedded in a fabric of a back section of the body, wherein the back section is configured to substantially cover a back region of the wearer, the inflatable cushions comprise:
a back shoulder cushion placed on a back neck/shoulder region of the back section;
an upper back cushion placed on an upper back region of the back section;
a lower back cushion placed on a lower back region of the back section;
a left side upper back cushion placed on a left upper back region of the back section; and
a right side upper back cushion placed on a right upper back region of the back section.
13 . The air hoodie of claim 12 further comprising one or more tubes internally placed in the back section and connected to the inflatable cushions.
14 . The air hoodie of claim 12 wherein the one or more tubes comprise:
one or more internal tubes connecting the inflatable cushions to one another; and
at least one coupling tube configured to be coupled to an external device to inflate or deflate the one or more inflatable cushions.
15 . The air hoodie of claim 14 wherein the at lest one coupling tube comprises a valve configured to open or close a passage of the fluid to the inflatable cushions.
16 . The air hoodie of claim 14 wherein the internal tubes are embedded in the fabric of the back section.
17 . The air hoodie of claim 12 wherein the inflatable cushions are configured to be inflated by fluid comprising air, inert gas, or inert liquid.
18 . The air hoodie of claim 12 further comprises a hood extending upward from the body and configured to substantially cover the head of the wearer.
