Bowline to Bowtie

Abstract

An apparatus for hanging posters that comes as a single set with two cleats and single bowline. There are two cleats that have a section that is attached to the frame and a section that is exposed, meaning it is not attached to the frame. The two cleats are attached by a single bowline. The bowline is attached to one cleat while it is movably threaded to the second cleat, which allows the bowline to be tightened and loosened to adjust the drop of the bowline. The frame is formed by two sets of parallel walls of different lengths.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A hanging apparatus comprising:
 a frame;   a first cleat;   a second cleat;   the frame having a top side, a bottom side, a left side, and a right side;   the top side having a first end and a second end; and   the bottom side having a first end and a second end.   
     
     
         2 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 1  comprising:
 the top side and bottom side being shorter in length than the right side and the left side; 
 the left side having a top end and a bottom end; and 
 the right side having a top end and a bottom end. 
 
     
     
         3 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 2  comprising:
 the first end of the top side being connected to the top end of the left side; and 
 the second end of the top side being connected to the top side of the right side. 
 
     
     
         4 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 2  comprising:
 the first end of the bottom side being connected to the bottom end of the left side; and 
 the second end of the bottom side being connected to the bottom end of the right side. 
 
     
     
         5 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 1  comprising:
 the first cleat having an exposed end and an attached end; 
 the second cleat having an exposed end and an attached end;
 the exposed end of the first cleat having a plurality of apertures the exposed end of the second cleat having a plurality of apertures; and 
 
 a bow line. 
 
     
     
         6 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 5  comprising:
 the bowline having a stationary end and a non-stationary end; 
 the stationary end being threaded through the plurality of apertures on the first cleat; and 
 the non-stationary end being threaded through the plurality of apertures on the second cleat. 
 
     
     
         7 . A hanging apparatus comprising:
 a frame;   a first cleat;   a second cleat;   the frame having a top side, a bottom side, a left side, and a right side;   the top side having a first end and a second end;   the bottom side having a first end and a second end; and   the top side and bottom side being shorter in length than the right side and the left side.   
     
     
         8 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 7  comprising:
 the left side having a top end and a bottom end; 
 the right side having a top end and a bottom end; 
 the first end of the top side being connected to the top end of the left side; and 
 the second end of the top side being connected to the top side of the right side. 
 
     
     
         9 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 7  comprising:
 the first end of the bottom side being connected to the bottom end of the left side; and 
 the second end of the bottom side being connected to the bottom end of the right side. 
 
     
     
         10 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 1  comprising:
 the first cleat having an exposed end and an attached end; 
 the second cleat having an exposed end and an attached end; 
 the exposed end of the first cleat having a plurality of apertures; 
 the exposed end of the second cleat having a plurality of apertures; 
 the bowline having a stationary end and a non-stationary end; 
 the stationary end being threaded through the plurality of apertures on the first cleat; and 
 the non-stationary end being threaded through the plurality of apertures on the second cleat. 
 
     
     
         11 . A hanging apparatus comprising:
 a frame;   a first cleat;   a second cleat;   the frame having a top side, a bottom side, a left side, and a right side;   the top side having a first end and a second end;   the bottom side having a first end and a second end;   the bottom side having a first end and a second end;   the top side and bottom side being shorter in length than the right side and the left side;   the left side having a top end and a bottom end;   the right side having a top end and a bottom end;   the first end of the top side being connected to the top end of the left side; and   the second end of the top side being connected to the top side of the right side.   
     
     
         12 . The hanging apparatus as claimed in  claim 11  comprising:
 the first end of the bottom side being connected to the bottom end of the left side; 
 the second end of the bottom side being connected to the bottom end of the right side; 
 the first cleat having an exposed end and an attached end;
 the second cleat having an exposed end and an attached end; 
 the exposed end of the first cleat having a plurality of apertures; 
 the exposed end of the second cleat having a plurality of apertures; 
 the bowline having a stationary end and a non-stationary end; 
 the stationary end being threaded through the plurality of apertures on the first cleat; and 
 the non-stationary end being threaded through the plurality of apertures on the second cleat.
