Finger-Mounted Typing Apparatus

Abstract

A finger-mounted typing apparatus includes a finger ring, a neck portion, and a typing member. The neck portion comprises a first end and a second end. The first end is connected to the finger ring, while the second end is connected to the typing member. The typing member comprises a typing protrusion.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A finger-mounted typing apparatus comprising:
 a finger ring;   a neck portion;   a typing member;   the neck portion comprising a first end and a second end;   the first end being connected to the finger ring, while the second end being connected to the typing member; and   the typing member comprising a typing protrusion.   
     
     
         2 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the neck portion tapers from the second end to the first end. 
     
     
         3 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the neck portion is frustoconical in shape. 
     
     
         4 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 3 , a central axis of the neck portion is collinear with a diameter of the finger ring. 
     
     
         5 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the typing member further comprises a base portion affixed to the second end of the neck portion, and the typing protrusion is arranged on the base portion. 
     
     
         6 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 5 , wherein the base portion is a round base portion. 
     
     
         7 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 6 , wherein the base portion is a round base portion. 
     
     
         8 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the typing protrusion is a round protrusion. 
     
     
         9 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein the round protrusion further comprises a typing surface. 
     
     
         10 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein the typing surface is a flat typing surface. 
     
     
         11 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein the flat typing surface is located at a center of the base portion. 
     
     
         12 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 11 , wherein the flat typing surface is perpendicular to the central axis. 
     
     
         13 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein the typing protrusion comprises a sloped surface that transitions from the base portion to the flat typing surface. 
     
     
         14 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein the sloped surface has an angle of less than 15 degrees with respect to the flat typing surface. 
     
     
         15 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein the sloped surface has an angle of 15-40 degrees with respect to the flat typing surface. 
     
     
         16 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the typing member is made of silicone. 
     
     
         17 . The finger-mounted typing apparatus as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the finger ring and the neck portion are made of silicone.
