Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A subassembly of a golf bag comprising:
a base assembly comprising a ring portion and a base portion; wherein the ring portion comprises a top end configured to couple with a bag flat; wherein the ring portion further comprises a bottom end comprising a plurality of snap tabs configured to couple to the base portion.

2 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 1 , wherein each snap tab comprises a protruded surface positioned on a bottom end outer surface and configured to couple with the base portion.

3 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 2 , wherein the base portion includes a base portion flat bottom surface and a vertical lip that defines a base assembly perimeter, and extends upward from the base portion flat bottom surface.

4 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 3 , wherein the vertical lip includes a plurality of slots; wherein each slot is configured to receive a corresponding protruded surface when the base assembly is in an assembled position.

5 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 2 , wherein the top end comprises a first top end diameter and a ring portion bottom end having a second, ring portion bottom end diameter.

6 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 5 , wherein the first top end diameter is greater than the second, ring portion bottom end diameter.

7 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 5 , wherein the first top end diameter is equal to the second, ring portion bottom end diameter.

8 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 7 , wherein when the ring portion is assembled to the base portion the bottom end fits inside a vertical lip and the top end rests on top of the vertical lip.

9 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 1 , wherein ring portion comprises any suitable shape, such that when viewed from above, the ring has a square shape with rounded corners, rectangular, triangular, circular or any other suitable shape corresponding with the base portion.

10 . The subassembly of a golf bag of claim 2 , wherein each protruded surface comprises a shape selected from a group consisting of a rectangle, a triangle, a circle or a trapezoid.
