Abstract
An inhalation device with at least one liquid jet device, such as a micro heater or resistor, having at least one nozzle to produce liquid drops on demand in a mouthpiece, wherein at least one nozzle is closable by a valve. The valve may be adapted to cover the at least one nozzle.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An inhalation device comprising:
at least one liquid jet device; at least one nozzle to dispense liquid drops on demand in a mouthpiece, and a valve; wherein the at least one nozzle is closable by the valve.
2 . The inhalation device of claim 1 , wherein the liquid jet device is in the form of a MEMS.
3 . The inhalation device of claim 1 , wherein the valve is a flap valve.
4 . The inhalation device of claim 1 , wherein the valve is adapted to cover the at least one nozzle.
5 . The inhalation device of claim 1 , wherein the valve is adapted to be opened by pressure applied by liquid drops ejected from the at least one nozzle and/or by a negative pressure generated by a user during inhalation.
6 . The inhalation device of claim 1 , wherein the valve is biased into a state closing the at least one nozzle.
7 . The inhalation device of claim 1 , wherein a valve member extends essentially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the inhalation device.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
