Cosmetics Case
Abstract
A cosmetics case holds foundation, concealer, a mirror, and an applicator. An exterior case has a hinged, clam-shell structure with a top section, which holds a mirror, and a bottom section, forming a base for a repository for the foundation, concealer, and applicator. The repository includes a bottom section that holds foundation. A tray is sized to fit on top of the bottom section of the repository. The tray includes a first section for holding concealer and a second section for holding an applicator. An applicator is sized to fit in the second section of the tray. The repository is refillable, so that the foundation, or concealer, or both can be replaced or refilled, making the case friendly to the environment. The cosmetics are preferably non-comedogenic and problem skin friendly.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A cosmetics case comprising:
a top section having an exterior surface and a top interior; a bottom section having an exterior surface and a bottom interior, wherein the bottom interior forms a base having a first structure; a mirror affixed to the top interior of the top section; a repository having a second structure on an exterior surface adapted to mate with the first structure in the base, and a third structure on a top surface defining a container adapted to hold foundation; a tray having a fourth structure on a bottom surface adapted to mate with the third structure on the repository, and a fifth structure on a top surface defining a first section adapted to hold concealer and a second section adapted to hold an applicator; and a device pivotably connecting the top section to bottom section allowing the top section and bottom section to be closed to enclose the top interior and the bottom interior, including the mirror, repository, tray, and applicator, within a volume defined by the top section and bottom section.
2 . The cosmetics case of claim 1 wherein the top section and the bottom section together form a clam-shell structure that can be opened and closed.
3 . The cosmetics case of claim 1 wherein the container in the repository is refillable so that the foundation can be refilled or replaced.
4 . The cosmetics case of claim 1 , wherein the first section of the tray is refillable so that the concealer can be refilled or replaced.
5 . The cosmetics case of claim 1 wherein the container in the repository is refillable so that the foundation can be refilled or replaced, and the first section of the tray is refillable so that the concealer can be refilled or replaced.
6 . The cosmetics case of claim 1 , wherein the foundation, or the concealer, or both the foundation and the concealer are non-comedogenic.
7 . The cosmetics case of claim 1 , further comprising the foundation provided in the container, the concealer provided in the first section of the tray, and the applicator.
8 . The cosmetics case of claim 1 , further comprising a mechanism pivotably connecting the repository and the tray allowing the bottom surface of tray to be closed along an edge of the top surface of the repository.
9 . The cosmetics case of claim 1 , wherein the repository and tray are replaceable with a second repository with a second container filled with foundation and a second tray with a first section filled with concealer.
10 . A replacement item for a cosmetics case comprising:
a repository comprising a first structure on a bottom surface adapted to mate with a structure in a base of the cosmetics case, and a second structure on a top surface defining a container adapted to hold a foundation; and a tray having a third structure on a bottom surface adapted to mate with the second structure on the repository, and a fourth structure on a top surface defining a first section adapted to hold a concealer and a second section adapted to hold an applicator.
11 . The replacement item of claim 10 , the foundation provided in the container, and the concealer provided in the first section of the tray.
12 . The replacement item of claim 10 , further comprising a mechanism pivotably connecting the repository and the tray allowing the bottom surface of tray to be closed along an edge of the top surface of the repository.
13 . The replacement item of claim 10 , wherein mating between the tray and the repository forms an airtight seal.
14 . A cosmetics case comprising:
a top section having an exterior surface and a top interior; a bottom section having an exterior surface and a bottom interior, wherein the bottom interior forms a base having a first structure; a repository having a second structure on an exterior surface adapted to mate with the first structure in the base, and a container formed in a top surface of the repository and adapted to hold a first substance; a tray having a bottom surface adapted to mate with the top surface of the repository, and a first section formed in a top surface of the tray and adapted to hold a second substance, and a second section formed in the top surface of the tray; and a device pivotably connecting the top section to bottom section allowing the top section and bottom section to be closed to enclose the top interior and the bottom interior, including the repository and the tray, within a volume defined by the top section and bottom section.
15 . The cosmetics case of claim 13 , wherein the first substance comprises a first cosmetic.
16 . The cosmetics case of claim 13 , wherein the second substance comprises a second cosmetic.
17 . The cosmetics case of claim 13 , wherein the second section is adapted to hold an applicator.
18 . The cosmetics case of claim 14 , wherein mating of the tray and the repository forms an airtight seal.
19 . The cosmetics case of claim 18 , further comprising a hinge pivotably connecting the repository and the tray and having a closed position wherein the bottom surface of the tray mates with the top surface of the repository to form the airtight seal.
20 . The cosmetics case of claim 14 , wherein the second structure on the exterior surface of the repository comprises a cylindrical bottom and the first structure in the base comprises a cylindrical base, such that the cylindrical bottom of the repository is rotatable within the cylindrical base to engage a protrusion within a groove.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
