Abstract

A pickleball training system, is disclosed. The pickleball training system includes a paddle. The pickleball training system includes a handle. The pickleball training system includes a midsection, wherein the midsection's width is narrower than the handle width. The pickleball training system includes a body of the paddle which instead of maximizing the permissible surface area, the paddle is designed to only comprise itself of the sweet-spot portion of a traditional pickleball or similar paddle. The pickleball training system includes a removable connector cord loop which loops through the holes and is attached by a clip which is attached to a resistance band, which has an opposite end that then connects to a stationary object or door anchor for resistance training.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A pickleball training system comprising:
a paddle comprising: a handle; a plurality of holes connected by a groove or channel, wherein the plurality of holes are centrally located on the paddle for to receive a looped connector cord connecting the paddle to a resistance band for strength training, wherein the connector cord is removable and provides; a midsection, wherein the midsection width is more narrow than the handle; and a body of the paddle comprising a surface area for contacting a ball, wherein the surface area is configured to maximize a striking area of which the ball is able to be struck, wherein the surface area comprises a sweet spot area comprising a smaller surface area comprising a smaller area of the paddle than a remaining area of the paddle.

2 . The pickleball training system of claim 1 , wherein the paddle comprises of a solid piece of textured plastic with wood-grain style texture.

3 . The pickleball training system of claim 1 , wherein the connector cord connects to a resistance band with the opposite end connected to either a stationary object or door hinge anchor for adjustable intensity.

4 . The pickleball training system of claim 1 , wherein the sweet spot is centrally located on the paddle optimal for returning a ball.

5 . The pickleball training system of claim 4 , wherein the sweet spot is centrally located to provide for increased focus and difficulty of returning the ball.

6 . The pickleball training system of claim 4 , wherein the paddle is at least ¾ of an inch thick.

7 . The pickleball training system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of holes enables the connector cord to loop through the plurality of holes in the paddle and connect to the resistance band with a clip, wherein the clip is positioned on each end of the connector cord.
