Abstract

A pickleball training system is disclosed. The pickleball training system includes a paddle. The pickleball training system includes a handle. The pickleball training system includes a midsection, wherein the midsection is thinner than the handle and comprises of a hollowed portion where the typical sweet spot of a paddle is located. The pickleball training system includes a “speed spot” comprising of a smaller surface area than a remaining area of the paddle, the sweet spot located at a top portion of the paddle, furthest from the player's hand.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A pickleball training system comprising:
 a paddle comprising:
 a handle; 
 a midsection, wherein the midsection is thinner than the handle and comprises of a hollowed portion in a central portion of the paddle; and 
 a centrally located area comprising of a smaller surface area than a remaining area of the paddle, the remaining area having been hollowed out, the centrally located area located at a top portion of the paddle and centrally located from side to side. 
   
     
     
         2 . The pickleball training system of  claim 1 , wherein the paddle comprises of a solid piece of textured plastic with wood-grain style texture. 
     
     
         3 . The pickleball training system of  claim 1 , wherein the centrally located area positioned at a first end of the paddle furthest from a user's hand, wherein the centrally located area is configured to provide a high velocity return on a paddleball during an overhead shot. 
     
     
         4 . The pickleball training system of  claim 3 , wherein the paddle does not require an edge guard. 
     
     
         5 . The pickleball training system of  claim 3 , wherein the centrally located area of the paddle is centrally located to provide for increased focus by a user when striking a ball, and training to strike the ball with the fastest moving part of the paddle during overhead shot. 
     
     
         6 . The pickleball training system of  claim 1 , wherein the paddle is at least ¾ of an inch thick providing greater protection from wear, breakage, and discoloration.
