Abstract
An aerosol-generating component for use with a non-combustible aerosol provision device includes a heating material in thermal contact with aerosol generating material, and the heating material includes a plurality of elongate portions or elements which extend through or around said aerosol generating material in a first direction. The elongate portions or elements of the heating material are substantially parallel. An article and a system are also described.

An aerosol-generating component for use with a non-combustible aerosol provision device, the aerosol-generating component comprising a heating material in thermal contact with aerosol generating material, the heating material comprising a plurality of elongate portions or elements which extend through or around said aerosol generating material in a first direction and wherein the elongate portions or elements are substantially parallel.
2 . An aerosol-generating component according to claim 1 , wherein the heating material comprises a plurality of strands of heating material.
3 . An aerosol-generating component according to claim 2 , wherein the plurality of strands of heating material are non-planar.

16 . An article for use with a non-combustible aerosol-provision device comprising an aerosol-generating component according to any one of claims 1 to 3 or 19 to 27 .
17 . An article according to claim 16 , the article further comprising a mouthpiece arranged downstream of the aerosol-generating component.
18 . A non-combustible aerosol provision system comprising:
a non-combustible aerosol provision device; and an aerosol-generating component according to any one of claims 1 to 3 or 19 to 27 , or an article according to claim 16 .
19 . An aerosol-generating component according to any one of claims 1 to 3 , wherein the heating material is in the form of a susceptor.
20 . An aerosol-generating component according to any one of claim 1 to 3 or 19 , wherein the plurality of elongate portions or elements form together a single continuous piece of heating material.
21 . An aerosol-generating component according to any one of claims 1 to 3 or 19 to 20 , wherein the plurality of elongate portions or elements are arranged in a spaced apart configuration.
22 . An aerosol-generating component according to any one of claims 1 to 3 or 19 to 21 , wherein the heating material comprises between 2 and 6 elongate portions.
23 . An aerosol-generating component according to any one of claims 1 to 3 or 19 to 22 , wherein each of the plurality of elongate portions or elements is formed from a different material.
24 . An aerosol-generating component according to any one of claims 1 to 3 or 19 to 23 , wherein each of the plurality of elongate portions or elements is formed from the same material.
25 . An aerosol-generating component according to any one of claims 1 to 3 or 19 to 24 , wherein the heating material comprises the elongate portions or elements connected at their ends by connecting portions.
26 . An aerosol-generating component according to claim 25 , wherein the connecting portions form a curved section at either end of the heating material.
