Abstract
A portable marine anchoring device maximizes holding capacity while anchored into the ground. The device is fabricated from lightweight aluminum.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A portable marine anchoring device for use in sand and said sand having a top surface, the device comprising: an anchoring stake and a step plate; said anchoring stake further comprising a proximal end and a distal end; said anchoring stake having a cross section; said step plate being a generally flat plate; said step plate comprising a top face and an opposing bottom face; said step plate further comprising a free end and a tether end and said tether end having a tether attachment eye; the bottom face of the step plate having a joint joining said bottom face of the step plate with the proximal end of the anchoring stake, such that the anchoring stake is relatively vertical and perpendicular to said step plate; the tether attachment eye placed on bottom surface of said step plate; said anchoring stake having multiple wings projecting from said anchoring stake; and said multiple wings having a wing shape and said step plate is removeable connected to said anchoring stake with a connection device; said portable marine anchoring device inserted into said sand such that said anchoring stake distal end enters said sand first until said bottom face of the step plate is parallel to said sand top surface and said sand is contained within said anchoring stake having the elongated cavity; and a tether connecting said tether attachment eye to a marine vehicle floating on a body of water.
2 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 1 wherein said anchoring stake comprises a sidewall, the sidewall defining the elongated shape, the sidewall forming at least one outlet opening in fluid communication with the elongated shape.
3 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 1 wherein said anchoring stake further comprising a top surface and a bottom surface, the bottom surface forming an inlet opening in fluid communication with the elongated shape.
4 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 1 wherein said anchoring stake elongated shape cross-sectional shape is selected from the group consisting of circular shape, oval shape, rectangular shape, triangular shape, cruciform shape, vee shape, modified vee shape and a polygon shaped.
5 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 1 wherein said anchoring stake is fabricated with a material selected from the group consisting of aluminum, aluminum alloys, titanium, stainless steel, iron, beryllium, magnesium alloys, metal alloys, polymers, wood, and carbon reinforced plastics.
6 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 1 wherein the connection device is selected from the group consisting of clip, hinge, screw, or pin connection.
7 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 1 wherein said wings shape is selected from the group consisting of a rectangular shape, a triangular shape, a circular shape, a parabolic shape and polygon shape.
8 . A portable marine anchoring device for use in sand and said sand having a top surface, the device comprising: an anchoring stake and a step plate; said anchoring stake further comprising a proximal end and a distal end; said anchoring stake proximal end is larger than said distal end; said anchoring stake having a cross section and an elongated cavity; said step plate being a generally flat plate; said step plate comprising a top face and an opposing bottom face; said step plate further comprising a free end and a tether end and said tether end having a tether attachment eye on said bottom face; the bottom face of the step plate having a joint joining said bottom face of the step plate with the proximal end of the anchoring stake and said joint is removable enabled so that said anchoring stake is removable from said step plate; said step plate is attached to said anchoring stake such that the anchoring stake is relatively perpendicular to a vertical axis of said anchoring stake; said anchoring stake having multiple wings projecting from said anchoring stake and said multiple wings having a wing shape; said portable marine anchoring device inserted into said sand such that said anchoring stake distal end enters said sand first until said bottom face of the step plate is parallel to said sand top surface and said sand is contained within said anchoring stake having the elongated cavity; and a tether connecting said tether attachment eye in said step plate, to a marine vehicle floating on a body of water.
9 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 8 wherein said anchoring stake comprises a sidewall, the sidewall defining the elongated shape.
10 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 8 wherein said anchoring stake shape is selected from the group consisting of circular shape, oval shape, rectangular shape, triangular shape, cruciform shape, vee shape, modified vee shape and polygon stake.
11 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 8 wherein said anchoring stake is fabricated from a material selected from the group consisting of aluminum, aluminum alloys, titanium, stainless steel, iron, beryllium, magnesium alloys, metal alloys, polymers, wood and carbon reinforced plastics.
12 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 8 wherein the joint is selected from the group consisting of clip, hinge, screw or pin connection.
13 . The portable marine anchoring device of claim 8 wherein said wings shape is selected from the group consisting of a rectangular shape, a triangular shape, a circular shape, a parabolic shape, and polygon shape.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
