2 . The shoe according to claim 1 , wherein
a string passing portion is disposed on the upper end portion of each of the panel members, and the pulling member is a shoelace to be passed through the string passing portion.

3 . The shoe according to claim 1 , wherein
each of the panel members includes an inner panel member capable of being in contact with the foot of the wearer, and an outer panel member disposed on a side opposite to the foot of the wearer with the inner panel member sandwiched by the outer panel member and the foot of the wearer, a certain region from upper end portions toward lower end portions of the inner panel member and the outer panel member is a bonded region bonded to each other, and a region below the bonded region of the inner panel member and the outer panel member is a stitched region stitched to each other.

4 . The shoe according to claim 3 , wherein the panel member on the lateral foot side includes a cushioning member disposed to be capable of being in contact with the foot of the wearer and formed of a material softer than the inner panel member and the outer panel member.

5 . The shoe according to claim 4 , wherein the cushioning member protrudes from the inner panel member toward the foot of the wearer and is disposed to be capable of being in contact with an area below a lateral malleolus of the wearer.

6 . The shoe according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a lining member disposed between rear end portions of the pair of the panel members inside the upper rear foot portion, wherein the rear end portion of each of the panel members and the lining member are stitched to be flush with each other.

7 . The shoe according to claim 6 , further comprising:
a heel counter disposed on the side opposite to the foot of the wearer with each of the panel members and the lining member sandwiched between the heel counter and the foot of the wearer, wherein an upper end portion of a stitched portion of the panel member and the lining member is positioned above an upper end portion of the heel counter at least at a position where the stitched portion is disposed.

8 . The shoe according to claim 1 , wherein
the panel member on the lateral foot side is disposed behind a fifth metatarsal tuberosity of the wearer, and a fore end portion of the panel member on the medial foot side and a fore end portion of the panel member on the lateral foot side correspond in position to each other in a fore-rear direction.

9 . The shoe according to claim 1 , wherein each of the panel members has a shape in which a width in the fore-rear direction decreases from the lower end portion toward the upper end portion.
