Cartridge and aerosol-generating device including the same

Abstract

A cartridge and an aerosol-generating device are disclosed. The cartridge of the disclosure includes a container comprising an outer wall surrounding a space and an inner wall configured to partition the space surrounded by the outer wall into a first chamber opened at one side and an insertion space opened at both sides; a lower case coupled to the outer wall of the container at the open side of the first chamber; a first frame covering the open side of the first chamber, wherein the first frame is coupled at one side thereof to the lower case; a second frame extended from another side of the first frame, and defines a second chamber communicating with the insertion space in the lower case, wherein one side of the second frame is supported by the lower case, wherein another side of the second frame supports the inner wall of the container; a wick disposed in the second chamber and communicated with the first chamber; and a heater configured to heat the wick.

1 . A cartridge comprising:
 a container comprising an outer wall surrounding a space and an inner wall configured to partition the space surrounded by the outer wall into a first chamber opened at one side and an insertion space opened at both sides;   a lower case coupled to the outer wall of the container at the open side of the first chamber;   a first frame covering the open side of the first chamber, wherein the first frame is coupled at one side thereof to the lower case;   a second frame extended from another side of the first frame, and defines a second chamber communicating with the insertion space in the lower case, wherein one side of the second frame is supported by the lower case, wherein another side of the second frame supports the inner wall of the container;   a wick disposed in the second chamber and communicated with the first chamber; and   a heater configured to heat the wick.   
     
     
         2 . The cartridge according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a latching recess recessed into one side of the first frame; and   a latching hook protruding from the lower case, wherein the latching hook is inserted into the latching recess to support the first frame.   
     
     
         3 . The cartridge according to  claim 2 , wherein the lower case comprises:
 an accommodation portion accommodating and supporting the second frame; and   an extension portion extending from the accommodation portion to support a bottom of the first frame, wherein the extension portion is provided with the latching hook.   
     
     
         4 . The cartridge according to  claim 3 , wherein the inner wall of the container presses the second frame downwards, and
 wherein the first frame is supported by the extension portion, and presses the latching hook upwards.   
     
     
         5 . The cartridge according to  claim 3 , wherein the extension portion comprises a portion supporting the bottom of the first frame at a position between the latching hook and the inner wall of the container. 
     
     
         6 . The cartridge according to  claim 1 , wherein the second frame comprises a second inclined wall extending toward the first frame to be inclined in an outward direction of the second chamber, and
 wherein the lower case comprises a support bar protruding toward the inside of the lower case, wherein the support bar is inclined at a slope corresponding to the second inclined wall to support the second inclined wall.   
     
     
         7 . The cartridge according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a sealing member inserted into a gap between the open side of the first chamber and the first frame to block the open side of the first chamber.   
     
     
         8 . The cartridge according to  claim 7 , wherein the sealing member comprises:
 a first sealing portion extending along the outer wall of the container; and   a second sealing portion extending from the first sealing portion along the inner wall of the container.   
     
     
         9 . The cartridge according to  claim 8 , wherein the sealing member comprises at least one sealing link extending from the inner wall of the container toward the outer wall of the container to interconnect the first sealing portion and the second sealing portion. 
     
     
         10 . The cartridge according to  claim 9 , wherein the sealing link is one of a plurality of sealing links, and the plurality of sealing links is radially arranged about the second sealing portion. 
     
     
         11 . The cartridge according to  claim 9 , further comprising:
 at least one sealing hook protruding from the first frame to be engaged with the first sealing portion.   
     
     
         12 . The cartridge according to  claim 11 , wherein the at least one sealing hook supports an inner circumferential surface of the first sealing portion. 
     
     
         13 . The cartridge according to  claim 11 , wherein the sealing link is one of a plurality of sealing links, and
 wherein the at least one sealing hook is disposed between the plurality of sealing links.   
     
     
         14 . The cartridge according to  claim 8 , wherein the second sealing portion is interposed between the inner wall of the container and the second frame. 
     
     
         15 . The cartridge according to  claim 14 , further comprising:
 a frame rim protruding upwards from an edge of the first frame and extending along the edge of the first frame,   wherein the first sealing portion comprises a fitting groove to allow the frame rim to be inserted into the fitting groove.
