Exercise apparatus

Abstract

A portable exercise apparatus that is configured to provide a plurality of exercise for a user thereof. The present invention includes a base platform wherein the base platform has an upper surface for a user to stand thereon. A foot support member is mounted to one end of the base platform. A support member is secure to one end of the base platform and extends upward therefrom. The support member has mounted thereto a rotational bar member. A controller is mounted to the support member wherein the controller includes a graphical interface and provides operational control of the exercise apparatus 100. A plurality of pulleys are secured to the exercise apparatus 100 on the base platform and support member. Cable members operably couple the pulleys to a torsion wheel configured to provide resistance to the movement in which a user attempts to pull the cable.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A portable exercise apparatus configured to facilitate a plurality of exercises for a user thereof wherein the portable exercise apparatus comprises:
 a base platform, said base platform having a first end and a second end, said base platform having an upper surface, said base platform being manufactured from a rigid material;   a support member, said support member being secured to the base platform proximate the second end thereof, said support member extending upward from said base platform;   a plurality of pulleys said plurality of pulleys being mounted to said base platform being mounted underneath thereto, said plurality of pulleys being operably coupled with a cable;   a torsion wheel, said torsion wheel being mounted to a bottom surface of said base platform, said torsion wheel being operably coupled to an end of the cable, said torsion wheel configured to provide resistance to movement of the cable;   a controller, said controller being mounted to said support member, said controller having electronics operable to store, receive, transmit and manipulate data, said controller having a graphical interface screen, said controller providing operation of the portable exercise apparatus; and   a rotational bar member, said rotational bar member being mounted to said support member, said rotational bar member having a hub, said hub having operably coupled thereto a first bar and a second bar, said first bar and said second bar being on opposing sides of said hub, said rotational bar member configured to provide a rotational exercise movement for the user.

The portable exercise apparatus configured to facilitate a plurality of exercises for the user thereof as recited in  claim 1 , and further including an upper bar member, said upper bar member being operably coupled to said cable, said upper bar member being adjacent an upper pulley wherein the cable is operably coupled to the upper pulley, said upper bar member movable in a first direction and a second direction.

The portable exercise apparatus configured to facilitate a plurality of exercises for the user thereof as recited in  claim 2 , and further including a seat member, said seat member being secured to said upper surface of said base platform, said seat member being rotational. 
     
     
         4 . The portable exercise apparatus configured to facilitate a plurality of exercises for the user thereof as recited in  claim 3 , and further including a foot support member, said foot support member being secured to the upper surface of said base platform proximate said first end, said foot support member, said foot support member extending substantially across said base platform. 
     
     
         5 . The portable exercise apparatus configured to facilitate a plurality of exercises for the user thereof as recited in  claim 4 , and further including a speaker, said speaker being mounted to said support member, said speaker being operably coupled to said controller, said speaker configured to provide audio output. 
     
     
         6 . The portable exercise apparatus configured to facilitate a plurality of exercises for the user thereof as recited in  claim 5 , and further including two wheel members, said two wheel member being secured to said base platform on opposing corners thereof. 
     
     
         7 . The portable exercise apparatus configured to facilitate a plurality of exercises for the user thereof as recited in  claim 6 , and further including grip members, said grip members being secured to ends of the cable, said grip members configured to be engaged with a user's hands. 
     
     
         8 . The portable exercise apparatus configured to facilitate a plurality of exercises for the user thereof as recited in  claim 7 , wherein said support member is configured to be folded downward towards said upper surface of said platform for transportation of the portable exercise apparatus.
