Abstract
A makeup removal system includes a vibrating device and an absorbent article attached to the vibrating device and configured to be vibrated by the vibrating device, the absorbent article having absorbed thereon a makeup removal composition comprising a vegetable derived oil and is essentially free of water.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A makeup removal system, comprising:
a vibrating device; an absorbent article attached to the vibrating device and configured to be vibrated by the vibrating device, the absorbent article having absorbed thereon a makeup removal composition comprising a vegetable derived oil and is essentially free of water.
2 . The makeup removal composition of claim 1 , wherein the makeup removal composition comprises:
i. at least one branched, alkylated alcohol ester present from about 40% to about 70% by weight of the composition; ii. at least one dialkylated ether, dialkylated carbonate, or a combination thereof present from about 2% to about 20% by weight of the composition; iii. at least one nonionic surfactant present from about 0.5% to about 5% by weight of the composition; and iv. at least one vegetable derived oil present from about 20% to about 60% by weight of the composition, wherein the composition is essentially free of water and silicone.
3 . The makeup removal system of claim 1 , wherein the vibrating device vibrates at ultrasonic frequencies.
4 . The makeup removal system of claim 1 , wherein the vibrating device vibrates at below ultrasonic frequencies.
5 . The makeup removal system of claim 2 , wherein:
i. the at least one branched, alkylated alcohol ester comprises one or more of isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, ethylhexyl palmitate; ii. the at least one dialkylated ether, dialkylated carbonate, or a combination thereof comprises one or more of dicaprylyl ether and dicaprylyl carbonate; iii. the at least one nonionic surfactant comprises one or more of polyglyceryl-6 dicaprate, polyglyceryl-2 oleate and polyglyceryl-10 dioleate; and iv. the at least one vegetable derived oil comprises one or more of Zea Mays (corn) oil or brassica campestris (rapeseed) seed oil.
6 . The makeup removal system of claim 2 , wherein the makeup removal composition comprises a solvent that comprises isohexadecane.
7 . The makeup removal system of claim 2 , wherein the at least one polar emollient with molecular weight of 400 g/mol or less is present from about 5% to about 10% by weight of the composition.
8 . The makeup removal system of claim 2 , wherein the makeup removal composition is essentially free of mineral oil.
9 . The makeup removal system of claim 2 , wherein:
i. the at least one branched, alkylated alcohol ester comprises isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, and ethylhexyl palmitate, each of the isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, and ethylhexyl palmitate present from about 20% to about 25% by weight of the composition; ii. the at least one dialkylated ether, dialkylated carbonate or combination thereof comprises dicaprylyl ether, the dicaprylyl ether present from about 3% to about 5% by weight of the composition; iii. the at least one nonionic surfactant comprises polyglyceryl-6 dicaprate and polyglyceryl-2 oleate, each of the polyglyceryl-6 dicaprate and polyglyceryl-2 oleate present from about 1% to about 3% by weight of the composition; and iv. the at least one vegetable derived oil comprises Zea Mays (corn) oil from about 10% to about 30%.
10 . A method of removing makeup, comprising:
applying a vibrating article to makeup to be removed, wherein the article has absorbed thereon a makeup removal composition comprising a vegetable derived oil and is essentially free of water
11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the makeup removal composition comprises:
i. at least one branched, alkylated alcohol ester present from about 40% to about 70% by weight of the composition; ii. at least one dialkylated ether, dialkylated carbonate, or a combination thereof present from about 2% to about 20% by weight of the composition; iii. at least one nonionic surfactant present from about 0.5% to about 5% by weight of the composition; and iv. at least one vegetable derived oil present from about 20% to about 60% by weight of the composition, wherein the composition is essentially free of water and silicone.
12 . The method of removing makeup of claim 10 , comprising vibrating the article at an ultrasonic frequency.
13 . The method of removing makeup of claim 10 , comprising vibrating the article at below an ultrasonic frequency.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
