Abstract
A snow shovel includes a shaft, a first handle, a second handle, a blade member, a power source, and a light. The shaft comprises a first end, a second end, and a middle portion. The first handle is secured to the first end of the shaft. The blade member is attached to the second end of the shaft. The second handle is attached to the shaft and positioned between the first end and the second end. The light is electrically connected to the power source.

1 . A snow shovel, comprising:
a shaft; a first handle; a second handle; a blade member; a power source; a light; the shaft comprising a first end, a second end, and a middle portion; the first handle being secured to the first end of the shaft; the blade member being attached to the second end of the shaft; the second handle being attached to the shaft and positioned between the first end and the second end; the light being electrically connected to the power source.
2 . The snow shovel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the second handle comprises a sleeve member, and the light is positioned at a lower end of the sleeve member.
3 . The snow shovel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the second handle is positioned at the middle portion of the of the shaft.
4 . The snow shovel as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a switch to selectively connect or disconnect the power source from the light.
5 . The snow shovel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first handle further comprises a first heating element that is electrically connected to the power source.
6 . The snow shovel as claimed in claim 5 , further comprising a switch to selectively connect or disconnect the power source from the first heating element.
7 . The snow shovel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the second handle further comprises a second heating element that is electrically connected to the power source.
8 . The snow shovel as claimed in claim 7 , further comprising a switch to selectively connect or disconnect the power source from the second heating element.
9 . The snow shovel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the power source is a rechargeable battery.
