Purse with integrated removable phone case

Abstract

A purse with an integrated and removable personal electronic device case is disclosed. The purse includes a purse body having a hollow cavity for storing items and a purse strap attached to the purse body. The purse strap includes one or more primary connection points. The purse also includes a personal electronic device case including one or more secondary connection points and a personal electronic device chain removably attached to one of the one or more secondary connection points and removably attached to one of the one or more primary connection points. The personal electronic device case allows for immediate access to a personal electronic device without consuming space within the purse. The personal electronic device case may be removed from the purse to allow for separate use of the personal electronic device or the purse.

I claim: 
     
         1 : A purse with an integrated removable carrying case for a personal electronic device, the purse comprising:
 a purse body including a hollow cavity for storing items;   a purse strap attached to the purse body, the purse strap including one or more primary connection points;   a personal electronic device case including one or more secondary connection points; and   a personal electronic device chain removably attached to one of the one or more secondary connection points and removably attached to one of the one or more primary connection points.   
     
     
         2 : The purse of  claim 1 , wherein the purse body includes an exterior pocket configured to hold the personal electronic device case. 
     
     
         3 : The purse of  claim 1 , wherein the personal electronic device chain includes at least one material selected from the group consisting of: a metal chain, a nylon strap, a leather strap, and a fabric strap. 
     
     
         4 : The purse of  claim 3 , wherein the material includes at least two selected from the group consisting of: a metal chain, a nylon strap, a leather strap, and a fabric strap. 
     
     
         5 : The purse of  claim 1 , wherein the personal electronic device case is configured to cradle at least sides and a portion of a back side of the personal electronic device when the personal electronic device is connected to the personal electronic device case. 
     
     
         6 : A system for carrying a personal electronic device, the system comprising:
 a purse comprising:   a hollow cavity for storing items defined by a front face, a rear face, and at least one side face,   a primary component strap, and   one or more primary connection points on the at least one side face;   a personal electronic device case including one or more secondary connection points; and   a personal electronic device chain having a first end and a second end, the personal electronic device chain attached to one of the one or more secondary connection points via the first end and attached to one of the one or more primary connection points via the second end.   
     
     
         7 : The system of  claim 6 , wherein the one or more primary connection points comprise one or more of a D-ring, an O-ring, and a grommet. 
     
     
         8 : The system of  claim 6 , wherein the personal electronic device case is configured to cradle at least sides and a portion of a back side of the personal electronic device when the personal electronic device is connected to the personal electronic device case. 
     
     
         9 : The system of  claim 6 , further comprising an exterior pocket attached to the front face of the hollow cavity, the exterior pocket configured to hold the personal electronic device case. 
     
     
         10 : The system of  claim 9 , wherein the personal electronic device case is further configured to have dimensions comparably smaller than the exterior pocket allowing the personal electronic device case to be insertable in the exterior pocket. 
     
     
         11 : The system of  claim 6 , wherein the personal electronic device chain comprises at least one material selected from the group consisting of: a metal chain, a nylon strap, a leather strap, and a fabric strap. 
     
     
         12 : The system of  claim 11 , wherein the material includes at least two selected from the group consisting of: a metal chain, a nylon strap, a leather strap, and a fabric strap. 
     
     
         13 : A personal electronic device carrying apparatus comprising:
 a primary carrying component having a primary connection point;   a personal electronic device case including a secondary connection point, wherein the secondary connection point is located at a corner formed between a first axis of the personal electronic device case and a second axis of the personal electronic device case, wherein the first axis and second axis are perpendicular; and   a mechanical linkage, wherein a first end of the mechanical linkage is removably coupled to the primary carrying component and a second end of the mechanical linkage is removably coupled to the secondary connection point.   
     
     
         14 : The personal electronic device carrying apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein the personal electronic device case is further configured to be insertable in an exterior pocket of the primary carrying component. 
     
     
         15 : The personal electronic device carrying apparatus of  claim 14 , which is further configured to have dimensions comparably smaller than the exterior pocket of the primary carrying component allowing the personal electronic device case to be insertable in the exterior pocket of the primary carrying component. 
     
     
         16 : The personal electronic device carrying apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein the personal electronic device case is configured to cradle at least sides and a portion of a back side of a personal electronic device when the personal electronic device is connected to the personal electronic device case. 
     
     
         17 : The personal electronic device carrying apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein the mechanical linkage comprises at least one material selected from the group consisting of: a metal chain, a nylon strap, a leather strap, and a fabric strap. 
     
     
         18 : The personal electronic device carrying apparatus of  claim 17 , wherein the material includes at least two selected from the group consisting of: a metal chain, a nylon strap, a leather strap, and a fabric strap. 
     
     
         19 : The personal electronic device carrying apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein the one or more primary connection points comprise one or more of a D-ring, an O-ring, and a grommet.
