Decorative gift display device

Abstract

A decorative gift display device for having a decoratable gift display stand includes a pair of panels. Each panel includes an outside surface, an inside surface, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge. The outside surface is devoid of color, wherein the outside surface may receive decorative indicia. A coupler is coupled to each panel of the pair of panels to pivotally couple the panels together. The panels are positionable in a closed position and an open position. A tether is attached to each panel of the pair of panels. The tether extends between the panels offset from the coupler such that the panels are prevented from being pivoted further apart when the tether is taut between the pair of panels. A plurality of pockets is coupled to each panel and may removably receive at least one item.

1 . A gift display device comprising:
 a pair of panels, each panel including an outside surface, an inside surface, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge, wherein said outside surface is receivable of decorative indicia;   a coupler being coupled to said top edge of each panel of said pair of panels wherein the pair of panels are pivotally coupled together, said panels being positionable in a closed position and an open position, said bottom edge of each of said panels being a free linear edge wherein said pair of panels is unobstructed between said bottom edges of said panel in said open position;   a tether being attached to each panel of the pair of panels spaced from said free bottom edge of a respective one of said pair of panels, said tether extending between said panels offset from said coupler such that said panels are prevented from being pivoted further apart when said tether is taut between said pair of panels;   a plurality of pockets being coupled to each panel, each pocket of said plurality of pockets removably receiving at least one item.

The gift display device of  claim 1 , wherein said closed position is defined by said inside surface of each panel abutting each other, said open position being defined by said panels being angled relative to each other such that an acute angle is formed between said panels. 
     
     
         3 . The gift display device of  claim 1 , wherein said coupler comprising a living hinge. 
     
     
         4 . The gift display device of  claim 2 , wherein said tether includes a pair of ends, each end of said pair of ends being coupled to a respective one of said inside surfaces of said pair of panels. 
     
     
         5 . The gift display device of  claim 1 , wherein each pocket comprises a liquid-impermeable material.

The gift display device of  claim 1 , wherein each pocket is positioned on said outside surface of each panel, each pocket having an opening being positioned facing towards said top edge of each panel, one panel of said pair of panels having at least 3 pockets of said plurality of pockets being positioned successively from said top edge to said bottom edge, another panel of said pair of panels having at least one pocket of said plurality of pockets being elongated from said first side edge to said second side edge. 
     
     
         7 . A gift display device comprising:
 a pair of panels, each panel including an outside surface, an inside surface, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge, wherein said outside surface is receivable of decorative indicia;   a coupler being coupled to said top edge of each panel of said pair of panels wherein the pair of panels are pivotally coupled together, said panels being positionable in a closed position and an open position, said closed position being defined by said inside surface of each panel abutting each other, said open position being defined by said panels being angled relative to each other such that an acute angle being formed between said panels, said coupler comprising a living hinge, said bottom edge of each of said panels being a free linear edge wherein said pair of panels is unobstructed between said bottom edges of said panel in said open position;   a tether being attached to each panel of the pair of panels, said tether extending between said panels offset from said coupler such that said panels are prevented from being pivoted further apart when said tether is taut between said pair of panels, said tether including a pair of ends, each end of said pair of ends being coupled to a respective one of said inside surfaces of said pair of panels spaced from said free bottom edge of a respective one of said pair of panels; and   a plurality of pockets being coupled to each panel, each pocket of said plurality of pockets removably receiving at least one item, each pocket comprising a liquid-impermeable material, each pocket being positioned on said outside surface of each panel, each pocket having an opening being positioned facing towards said top edge of each panel, one panel of said pair of panels having at least 3 pockets of said plurality of pockets being positioned successively from said top edge to said bottom edge, another panel of said pair of panels having at least one pocket of said plurality of pockets being elongated from said first side edge to said second side edge.
