Abstract

A tape-in hair extension device for supplementing hair where the hair is capable of being supplemented at angles that are substantially greater than the natural growth of human hair, therefore producing an extraordinary appearance to the hair volume of its wearer, while still maintaining a realistic appearance of hair. The tape-in hair extension device comprises a carrier strip, a flat hair matrix, one or more angled hair matrixes, and a PU Pad for each angled hair matrix, so as to create an increased hair volume appearance.

1 . A tape-in hair extension device to be attached on the head of a wearer comprising:
 a carrier strip; and   two or more hair matrix, wherein each hair matrix comprises a material at a top of the hair matrix and one or more hairs strands attached to a bottom of said material; and   wherein the carrier strip comprises a surface area where each hair matrix is connected to; and   one or more triangular polyurethane pads; and   wherein each triangular pad has a first side attached alongside the carrier strip, a second side attached alongside a first hair matrix; and a third side attached alongside a second hair matrix; and   wherein an angle is formed by each pad at the vertex point where the first hair matrix meets the carrier strip.   
     
     
         2 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 1 , wherein each hair matrix material comprises plastic. 
     
     
         3 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 1 , wherein one of the second hair matrix is attached alongside and parallel to the carrier strip. 
     
     
         4 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 1 , wherein the carrier strip is fastened to natural hairs on a back or a side of the wearer's head by double-sided tape or clip. 
     
     
         5 . The tape-in hair extension of  claim 4 , wherein the angle formed by each pad is about 15 degrees to emulate natural hair growth at the back or the side of the head. 
     
     
         6 . The tape-in hair extension of  claim 4 , wherein the angle formed by each pad is greater than 15 degrees and less than or equal to 30 degrees to emulate an extraordinary appearance of hair volume at the back or the side of the head. 
     
     
         7 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 1 , wherein the carrier strip is fastened to natural hairs on a top of the wearer's head by double-sided tape or clip. 
     
     
         8 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 7 , wherein the angle formed by each pad is about 30 degrees to emulate natural hair growth at the top of the head. 
     
     
         9 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 7 , wherein the angle formed by each pad is greater than 30 degrees to emulate an extraordinary appearance of hair volume at the top of the head. 
     
     
         10 . A tape-in hair extension device to be attached on the head of a wearer comprising:
 a carrier strip; and   two or more hair matrix, wherein each hair matrix comprises a material at a top of the hair matrix and one or more hairs strands attached to a bottom of said material; and   wherein the carrier strip comprises a surface area where each hair matrix is connected to; and   two or more triangular polyurethane pads; and   wherein a first pad has a first side attached alongside the carrier strip and a second side attached alongside a first hair matrix, and a third side attached alongside a second hair matrix; and   wherein a second pad has a first side attached alongside the carrier strip and a second side attached alongside the second hair matrix, and a third side attached alongside a third hair matrix; and   wherein a first angle is formed by the first pad at the vertex point where the first hair matrix meets the carrier strip; and   wherein a second angle is formed by second the pad at the vertex point where the second hair matrix meets the carrier strip.   
     
     
         11 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 10 , wherein each hair matrix material comprises plastic. 
     
     
         12 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 10 , wherein the third hair matrix is attached alongside and parallel to the carrier strip. 
     
     
         13 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 10 , wherein the carrier strip is fastened to natural hairs on a back or a side of the wearer's head by double-sided tape or clip. 
     
     
         14 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 13 , wherein the first angle is between 15 and 30 degrees and the second angle is between 15 and 30 degrees. 
     
     
         15 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 14 , wherein the first angle is different than the second angle. 
     
     
         16 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 10 , wherein the carrier strip is fastened to natural hairs on a top of the wearer's head by double-sided tape or clip. 
     
     
         17 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 16 , wherein the first angle is greater than or equal to 30 degrees and the second angle is greater than or equal to 30 degrees. 
     
     
         18 . The tape-in hair extension device of  claim 17 , wherein the first angle is different than the second angle.
