Article of clothing

Abstract

Apparatus and methods that include a garment, which includes an undergarment, wherein the undergarment includes an upper, circumferential edge; and a tubular extension operably attached around at least a portion of the upper, circumferential edge, wherein the tubular extension terminates at a free annular edge.

1 . A garment comprising:
 an undergarment, wherein the undergarment comprises an upper, circumferential edge; and   a tubular extension operably attached around at least a portion of the upper, circumferential edge, wherein the tubular extension terminates at a free annular edge.   
     
     
         2 . The garment of  claim 1 , further comprising an outer garment and a secured structure, wherein the secured structure extends between a portion of an interior surface of the outer garment and the undergarment, and the secured structure extends over an exterior surface of the outer garment. 
     
     
         3 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the tubular extension extends between about 3 inches and about 12 inches between the upper circumferential edge and the free annular edge. 
     
     
         4 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the tubular extension extends between about 2 inches and about 12 inches between the upper circumferential edge and the free annular edge. 
     
     
         5 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the tubular extension extends between about 1 inch and about 12 inches between the upper circumferential edge and the free annular edge. 
     
     
         6 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the tubular extension comprises an interior surface, wherein the interior surface comprises one or anti-slip elements. 
     
     
         7 . A garment comprising:
 an undergarment, wherein the undergarment comprises an upper, circumferential edge; and   a tubular extension operably attached around at least a portion of the upper, circumferential edge, wherein the tubular extension terminates at a free annular edge, wherein the tubular extension comprises a section, the section extending around the upper, circumferential edge, wherein the section comprises a first end and a second end, wherein a first portion of the section is offset a first distance from the first end and a second portion of the section is offset a second distance from the second end, wherein the first portion is operably attached to the second portion at a seam.   
     
     
         8 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the tubular extension extends between about 2 inches and about 12 inches between the upper, circumferential edge and the free annular edge. 
     
     
         9 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the tubular extension extends between about 3 inches and about 6 inches between the upper, circumferential edge and the free annular edge. 
     
     
         10 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the first end is operably attached to the tubular extension at a first position, the first distance away from the first portion. 
     
     
         11 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the second end is operably attached to the tubular extension at a second position, the second distance away from the first portion. 
     
     
         12 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the first distance is substantially the same as the second distance. 
     
     
         13 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the first distance is about 0.5″ to about 10″. 
     
     
         14 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the first distance is about 1″ to about 5″. 
     
     
         15 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the second distance is about 0.5″ to about 10″. 
     
     
         16 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the second distance is about 1″ to about 5″. 
     
     
         17 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the seam is adjacent a location of the upper, circumferential edge, wherein the location is selected from the group consisting of about 30° to about 120° around the upper, circumferential edge, about 150° to about 210° around the upper, circumferential edge, and about 240° to about 330° around the upper, circumferential edge. 
     
     
         18 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the tubular extension comprises an interior surface, wherein the interior surface comprises one or anti-slip elements. 
     
     
         19 . The garment of  claim 7 , further comprising an outer garment and a secured structure, wherein the secured structure extends between a portion of an interior surface of the outer garment and the undergarment, and the secured structure extends over an exterior surface of the outer garment.
