Scuba and Snorkel Playground Facility

Abstract

An underwater public playground facility for individuals to navigate and enjoy while learning about marine life. The facility is designed for an urban setting obviating the need for individuals to go to oceans, lakes, and other open water bodies for performing scuba, snorkeling, and other marine/water activities. The facility includes a plurality of floors housing a plurality of pools/dive areas, a marine museum, and other activity areas such as virtual reality gaming, scuba training centers, and more. Individuals register themselves and select dive area(s) based on their experience level for performing scuba diving, snorkeling, and/or swimming. Museums provide marine life experiences to individuals. Scuba divers can collaborate with other scuba divers inside the facility for performing water activities.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A public playground facility for divers, the public playground facility comprising:
 an underwater area including a plurality of dive levels, wherein each said dive level including a different activity zone;   a retail shop having water related equipment for sale and rent, wherein said water related equipment selected from a group consisting of a scuba equipment, a snorkeling equipment, and a swimming equipment, and further wherein each said dive level is a dive area having a different depth.   
     
     
         2 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 1 , wherein each said activity zone having an obstacle for providing a challenge to the divers. 
     
     
         3 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 1 , wherein said obstacles selected from a group consisting of a monkey bar, a swing pole, and a magnet activated ride. 
     
     
         4 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 1 , wherein one level of said plurality of dive levels having a marine exhibit including marine life. 
     
     
         5 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 4 , wherein said marine life having touchable marine animals. 
     
     
         6 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 1  further comprising an upper level above said plurality of dive levels, wherein said upper level is a dry area. 
     
     
         7 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 6 , wherein said upper level is a restaurant. 
     
     
         8 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 5 , wherein said plurality of dive levels having lights for illumination of said plurality of dive levels. 
     
     
         9 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 8 , wherein said plurality of levels having a cleaning system for periodic cleaning of said dive area. 
     
     
         10 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 6 , wherein said upper level including said retail shop. 
     
     
         11 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 9 , wherein said water related equipment further selected from a group consisting of flippers, goggles, and pool toys. 
     
     
         12 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 3 , wherein said obstacles further selected from a group consisting of a metal bar structure, a rock-climbing system, and a parkour. 
     
     
         13 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 1 , wherein each said dive level corresponds to a diving experience level of the diver. 
     
     
         14 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 2 , wherein said plurality of dive levels having blacklights, and further wherein said obstacles are neon. 
     
     
         15 . A public playground facility for divers, the public playground facility comprising:
 an underwater area including a plurality of dive levels and an upper level, wherein each said dive level including a different activity zone;   a retail shop having water related equipment for sale and rent, wherein said water related equipment selected from a group consisting of a scuba equipment, a snorkeling equipment, and a swimming equipment;   wherein each said dive level is a dive area having a different depth and a different size; and   further wherein said upper level is a dry area above said plurality of dive levels.   
     
     
         16 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 15 , wherein each said activity zone having an obstacle for providing a challenge to the divers. 
     
     
         17 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 16 , wherein said obstacles selected from a group consisting of a monkey bar, a swing pole, a magnet activated ride, a metal bar structure, a rock-climbing system, and a parkour. 
     
     
         18 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 15 , wherein one level of said plurality of dive levels having a marine exhibit including marine life. 
     
     
         19 . The public playground facility for divers of  claim 18 , wherein said marine life having touchable marine animals. 
     
     
         20 . A public playground facility for divers, the public playground facility comprising:
 an underwater area including a plurality of dive levels, wherein each said dive level including a different activity zone;   a retail shop having water related equipment for sale and rent, wherein said water related equipment selected from a group consisting of a scuba equipment, a snorkeling equipment, and a swimming equipment;   wherein each said dive level is a dive area;   wherein one level of said plurality of dive levels having a marine exhibit including marine life; and   further wherein said marine life having touchable marine animals.
