Abstract

In one embodiment, a modular wearable system includes a backpack including a backpack body and backpack fasteners on backpack straps extending from the backpack body, a handbag including a handbag body and handbag fasteners on handbag straps and a handle extending from the handbag body, and a vest including a vest body and vest fasteners on vest straps extending from the vest body. The backpack fasteners reversibly couple to the handbag fasteners to form a wearable combination. The handbag fasteners couple to the vest fasteners to form another wearable combination. In another embodiment, a modular wearable system includes a backpack a handbag, and a shoulder bag strap including a pair of shoulder bag strap fasteners. The backpack fasteners reversibly couple to the handbag fasteners to form a wearable combination. The shoulder bag fasteners reversible couple to a pair of the handbag fasteners to form another wearable combination.

Claims

What is claimed is:

         1 . A modular wearable system comprising:
 a backpack comprising a backpack body and backpack fasteners on backpack straps extending from the backpack body; a handbag comprising a handbag body and handbag fasteners on handbag straps and a handle extending from the handbag body; and a shoulder bag strap, the shoulder bag strap comprising a pair of shoulder bag fasteners; wherein at least two of the backpack fasteners reversibly couple to at least two of the handbag fasteners to form a first wearable combination; and wherein the pair of shoulder bag fasteners reversibly couple to a pair of the handbag fasteners to form a second wearable combination.

         2 . The modular wearable system of claim 1 , wherein the backpack straps comprise two backpack shoulder straps and two backpack torso straps, the backpack fasteners comprise backpack shoulder fasteners on the backpack shoulder straps and backpack torso fasteners on the backpack torso straps, and the backpack shoulder fasteners are reversibly couplable to the backpack torso fasteners.

         3 . The modular wearable system of claim 2 , wherein the handbag straps comprise two handbag shoulder straps and two handbag torso straps, the handbag fasteners comprise handbag shoulder fasteners on the handbag shoulder straps and handbag torso fasteners on the handbag torso straps, the handbag shoulder fasteners are reversibly couplable to the backpack shoulder fasteners, and the handbag torso fasteners are reversibly couplable to the backpack torso fasteners.

         4 . A modular wearable system comprising:
 a backpack comprising a backpack body and backpack fasteners on backpack straps extending from the backpack body; a handbag comprising a handbag body and handbag fasteners on handbag straps and a handle extending from the handbag body; and a vest comprising a vest body and vest fasteners on vest straps extending from the vest body; wherein at least two of the backpack fasteners reversibly couple to at least two of the handbag fasteners to form a first wearable combination; and wherein at least two of the handbag fasteners couple to at least two of the vest fasteners to form a second wearable combination.

         5 . The modular wearable system of claim 4 , wherein the backpack straps comprise two backpack shoulder straps and two backpack torso straps, the backpack fasteners comprise backpack shoulder fasteners on the backpack shoulder straps and backpack torso fasteners on the backpack torso straps, and the backpack shoulder fasteners are reversibly couplable to the backpack torso fasteners.

         6 . The modular wearable system of claim 5 , wherein the handbag straps comprise two handbag shoulder straps and two handbag torso straps, the handbag fasteners comprise handbag shoulder fasteners on the handbag shoulder straps and handbag torso fasteners on the handbag torso straps, the handbag shoulder fasteners are reversibly couplable to the backpack shoulder fasteners, and the handbag torso fasteners are reversibly couplable to the backpack torso fasteners.

         7 . The modular wearable system of claim 4 , wherein the vest straps comprise two vest shoulder straps and two vest torso straps, the vest fasteners comprise vest shoulder fasteners on the vest shoulder straps and vest torso fasteners on the vest torso straps, and the vest shoulder fasteners are reversibly couplable to the vest torso fasteners.

         8 . The modular wearable system of claim 7 , wherein the handbag straps comprise two handbag shoulder straps and two handbag torso straps, the handbag fasteners comprise handbag shoulder fasteners on the handbag shoulder straps and handbag torso fasteners on the handbag torso straps, the handbag shoulder fasteners are reversibly couplable to the vest shoulder fasteners, and the handbag torso fasteners are reversibly couplable to the vest torso fasteners.

         9 . The modular wearable system of claim 4 , wherein a portion of the backpack body is formed of a transparent material for viewing an interior portion the backpack body without opening the backpack body.

         10 . The modular wearable system of claim 4 , wherein a portion of the handbag body is formed of a transparent material for viewing an interior portion in the handbag body without opening the backpack body.

         11 . The modular wearable system of claim 4 , wherein a portion of the vest body is formed of a transparent material for viewing an interior portion in the vest body without opening the backpack body.

         12 . The modular wearable system of claim 4 further comprising:
 a shoulder bag strap, the shoulder bag strap comprising a pair of shoulder bag fasteners;
 wherein the pair of shoulder bag fasteners reversibly couple to at least two of the handbag fasteners to permit the handbag to be worn as a shoulder bag.
