Abstract
A shape enhancing garment which is formed from a base layer and one or more inner compressive layers for applying pressure at least to an inner thigh area to urge inner thigh leg tissue away from the inner thigh; wherein the one or more inner compressive layers comprise a non-circumferential layer; wherein the non-circumferential layer is a non-stretch layer and reduces thigh chafing.

A shape enhancing garment which is formed from a base layer and one or more inner compressive layers for applying pressure at least to an inner thigh area to urge inner thigh leg tissue away from the inner thigh; wherein the one or more inner compressive layers comprise a non-circumferential layer; wherein the non-circumferential layer is a non-stretch layer.
2 . The garment as defined in claim 1 wherein the non-stretch layer is formed from a non-stretch film.
3 . The garment as defined in claim 1 wherein the non-circumferential layer comprises an inner thigh shaping region and optionally a sculpting area.
4 . The garment as defined in claim 3 wherein the inner thigh shaping region is formed from a continuous non-stretch layer.
5 . The garment as defined in claim 3 wherein the inner thigh shaping region is shaped to cover only the inner thigh.
6 . The garment as defined in claim 3 wherein the non-circumferential layer comprises a sculpting area.
7 . The garment as defined in claim 6 wherein the sculpting area is formed from a plurality of non-stretch elements to provide graduated compressive pressure release.

The garment as defined in claim 7 wherein a size of each non-stretch element decreases the further the non-stretch element is away from the inner thigh shaping region- and/or a distance between adjacent non-stretch elements increases the further the non-stretch elements are away from the inner thigh shaping region.

10 . The garment as defined in claim 3 wherein the inner thigh shaping region has a semi-circular shape
11 . The garment as defined in claim 1 wherein the non-circumferential layer comprises one or more front non-circumferential layers and one or more back non-circumferential layers where the front and back non-circumferential layers are different.
12 . The garment as defined in claim 11 wherein one or more front non-circumferential layers comprise a front sculpting area.
13 . The garment as defined in claim 12 wherein the front sculpting area is a groin sculpting area.
14 . The garment as defined in claim 11 wherein the one or more back non-circumferential layers comprise a back sculpting area.
15 . The garment as defined in claim 14 wherein the back sculpting area is a buttock supporting area.
16 . The garment as defined in claim 1 wherein the one or more inner compressive layers comprises a compressive fabric layer.
17 . The garment as defined in claim 16 wherein the compressive fabric layer is formed from two or more fabric regions having different compressive strength.
18 . The garment as defined in claim 17 wherein a fabric region having a higher compressive strength is positioned at or near an inner thigh area to urge thigh leg tissue away from the inner thigh.

21 . The garment as defined in claim 1 which includes a side panel for each leg which are shaped to cover each outer leg wherein each side panel is free from inner compressive layers.
