Boat
Abstract
A boat includes a sound emitter, a light emitter, and a controller to visually and audibly communicate a boat status and an external environment of the boat. The controller is configured or programmed to detect a condition of the boat including at least one of a status of the boat, excluding the status of the sound emitter and the light emitter, or the external environment of the boat. The controller is configured or programmed to operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in a mixed pattern combining sound and light according to the detected condition of the boat. The status of the boat and the external environment are able to be communicated visually and audibly to passengers, for example, via the mixed pattern combining sound and light.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A boat comprising:
a sound emitter; a light emitter; and a controller configured or programmed to detect a condition of the boat including at least one of a status of the boat, excluding a status of the sound emitter and the light emitter, or an external environment of the boat, and operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in a mixed pattern combining sound and light according to the condition of the boat detected by the controller.
2 . The boat according to claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured or programmed to operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in one of a plurality of mixed patterns in which at least one of the sound or the light differ from each other, and change the mixed pattern to another mixed pattern in response to a change in the condition of the boat detected during operation of the mixed pattern.
3 . The boat according to claim 2 , wherein the mixed pattern and the another mixed pattern differ in at least one of volume, pitch, tone, repetition period, number of sound sources, length, melody, or position of the sound emitted by the sound emitter.
4 . The boat according to claim 2 , wherein the mixed pattern and the another mixed pattern differ in at least one of luminance, color, emission period, or position of the light emitted by the light emitter.
5 . The boat according to claim 1 , further comprising:
an operator; wherein the light emitter includes a display; the sound emitter is powered independently from the display; the status of the boat includes that an activation operation has been performed by the operator on the display; and the controller is configured or programmed to operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in the mixed pattern in response to the activation operation on the operator.
6 . The boat according to claim 1 , further comprising:
an operator; wherein the light emitter includes a display; the sound emitter is powered independently from the display; the status of the boat includes that a termination operation has been performed by the operator on the display; and the controller is configured or programmed to operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in the mixed pattern in response to the termination operation on the operator.
7 . The boat according to claim 5 , wherein
the status of the boat includes that a termination operation has been performed by the operator on the display; and the controller is configured or programmed to operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in another mixed pattern different from the mixed pattern of the activation operation in response to the termination operation on the operator.
8 . The boat according to claim 1 , wherein the mixed pattern includes a pattern in which the light emitting operation by the light emitter continues after the sound emitting operation by the sound emitter is completed.
9 . The boat according to claim 1 , wherein the mixed pattern includes a pattern in which the sound emitting operation by the sound emitter continues after the light emitting operation by the light emitter is completed.
10 . The boat according to claim 1 , wherein the condition of the boat includes an operation mode of the boat.
11 . The boat according to claim 1 , wherein the condition of the boat includes a status of passengers of the boat.
12 . The boat according to claim 1 , further comprising:
an abnormality detector to detect an abnormality in the boat; wherein the condition of the boat includes that an abnormality in the boat is detected by the abnormality detector.
13 . The boat according to claim 12 , wherein
the abnormality detector includes a theft predictor; and the condition of the boat situation includes that theft of the boat has been predicted by the theft predictor.
14 . The boat according to claim 12 , wherein
the abnormality detector is operable to detect a plurality of abnormalities that differ from each other in at least one of type or degree; and the controller is configured or programmed to operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in the mixed pattern in which at least one of the sound or the light differs from each other according to the differences in the abnormalities detected by the abnormality detector.
15 . The boat according to claim 12 , wherein
the abnormality detector is operable to detect an abnormality at a plurality of locations on the boat; and the controller is configured or programmed to operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in the mixed pattern in which at least one of the sound or the light differs from each other according to the differences in the locations where an abnormality is detected by the abnormality detector.
16 . The boat according to claim 15 , wherein
the light emitter includes a plurality of lights positioned respectively at locations corresponding to the plurality of locations; and the mixed pattern is a pattern that emits light from one or more of the plurality of lights corresponding to the location where an abnormality is detected by the abnormality detector.
17 . The boat according to claim 15 , wherein
the sound emitter includes a plurality of sound emitters located at positions corresponding to the plurality of locations; and the mixed pattern is a pattern that emits sound by one or more of the plurality of sound emitters corresponding to the location where the abnormality is detected by the abnormality detector.
18 . The boat according to claim 1 , wherein the light emitter includes a passenger light located in a space for passengers of the boat.
19 . The boat according to claim 1 , wherein the condition of the boat includes a depth of water under the boat.
20 . A boat comprising:
a sound emitter; a light emitter; and a controller configured or programmed to detect a condition of the boat including at least one of a status of the boat or an external environment of the boat, and operate the sound emitter and the light emitter in a mixed pattern combining sound and light according to the condition of the boat detected by the controller.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
