Footwear sweat absorbing system and method

Abstract

A footwear sweat absorbing system for absorbing sweat from a foot of a wearer includes a sandal including a sole having an upper surface defining an insole removably abutting a bottom a foot of a wearer of the sandal. At least one strap is coupled to the sole and releasably secures the sandal to the foot of the wearer. A pad is removably coupled to the insole of the sandal and absorbs sweat from the foot of the wearer to inhibit the bottom of the foot from sliding upon the insole of the sandal. An adhesive strip is coupled to the pad and removably adheres the pad to the insole of the sandal.

1 . A footwear sweat absorbing system comprising:
 a sandal including:
 a sole including an upper surface defining an insole configured for removably abutting a bottom of a foot of a wearer of the sandal; and 
 at least one strap being coupled to said sole and being configured for releasably securing said sandal to the foot of the wearer; 
   a pad being removably coupled to said insole of said sandal and absorbing sweat from the foot of the wearer to inhibit the bottom of the foot from sliding upon said insole of said sandal, said pad being foot shaped wherein said pad is configured to mirror the shape of the bottom of the foot of the wearer, said pad including a base coupled to a plurality of toes, said plurality of toes including a big toe and a pinky toe wherein said big toe is positioned along an inside edge of said pad and said pinky toe is positioned along an outside edge of said pad whereby said pad is configured to mirror the shape of the bottom of one of a left foot and a right foot of the wearer; and   an adhesive strip being coupled to said pad and removably adhering said pad to said insole of said sandal.

         3 . The footwear sweat absorbing system of  claim 1 , wherein said pad includes a top layer comprising a cotton material, said top layer being abuttable against the bottom of the foot of the wearer. 
     
     
         4 . The footwear sweat absorbing system of  claim 3 , further including a bottom layer comprising a plastic material, said bottom layer being abuttable against the insole of the sandal. 
     
     
         5 . The footwear sweat absorbing system of  claim 4 , further including an insert being positioned within an interior of said pad and comprising a sponge material, said insert being positioned between said bottom layer and said top layer. 
     
     
         6 . The footwear sweat absorbing system of  claim 4 , wherein said adhesive strip is positioned on an outer surface of said bottom layer. 
     
     
         7 . The footwear sweat absorbing system of  claim 6 , further including a cover being removably positioned on said adhesive strip. 
     
     
         8 . A footwear sweat absorbing system comprising:
 a sandal including:
 a sole including an upper surface defining an insole configured for removably abutting a bottom of a foot of a wearer of the sandal; and 
 at least one strap being coupled to said sole and being configured for releasably securing said sandal to the foot of the wearer; 
   a pad being removably coupled to said insole of said sandal and absorbing sweat from the foot of the wearer to inhibit the bottom of the foot from sliding upon said insole of said sandal, said pad being foot shaped wherein said pad is configured to mirror the shape of the bottom of the foot of the wearer, said pad including a base coupled to a plurality of toes, said plurality of toes including a big toe and a pinky toe wherein said big toe is positioned along an inside edge of said pad and said pinky toe is positioned along an outside edge of said pad whereby said pad is configured to mirror the shape of the bottom of one of a left foot and a right foot of the wearer, said pad including:
 a top layer comprising a cotton material, said top layer being abuttable against the bottom of the foot of the wearer; 
 a bottom layer comprising a plastic material, said bottom layer being abuttable against the insole of the sandal; and 
 an insert being positioned within an interior of said pad and comprising a sponge material, said insert being positioned between said bottom layer and said top layer; 
   an adhesive strip being coupled to said pad and removably adhering said pad to said insole of said sandal, said adhesive strip being positioned on an outer surface of said bottom layer; and   a cover being removably positioned on said adhesive strip.   
     
     
         9 . A method for using an absorbing pad with a shoe including the steps of:
 removing a cover from an adhesive strip attached to the bottom surface of a pad. the pad being absorbable of fluids, the pad being foot shaped wherein the pad is configured to mirror the shape of a bottom of a foot of the wearer, said pad including a base coupled to a plurality of toes, said plurality of toes including a big toe and a pinky toe wherein said big toe is positioned along an inside edge of said pad and said pinky toe is positioned along an outside edge of said pad whereby said pad is configured to mirror the shape of the bottom of one of a left foot and a right foot of the wearer;   abutting the adhesive strip to an insole of a sandal to releasably adhere the pad to the insole;   positioning the foot of a wearer on the pad such that the pad is positioned between the foot and the insole.   
     
     
         10 . The method for using an absorbing pad with a shoe of  claim 9 , further including the step of removing said pad from said insole of said sandal when said pad is saturated with sweat from the foot of the wearer.
