Abstract

A plastics material container for holding liquids, in particular beverages, having a bottom section, a main body adjoining the bottom section that forms a holding volume that extends in a longitudinal direction of the plastics material container, a shoulder region adjoining the main body in the longitudinal direction, in which a cross-section in the longitudinal direction is reduced and with a mouth region which adjoins the shoulder region in the longitudinal direction, in which a mouth is formed, via which a liquid can be supplied to the container, wherein the shoulder region and the mouth region are arranged in an upper section of the plastics material container in relation to the longitudinal direction. The container has a deformation section in the upper section and in the longitudinal direction below the mouth section, in which deformation section the plastics material container is elastically deformable with respect to its longitudinal direction.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A plastics material container for holding liquids, comprising a bottom section, a main body adjoining the bottom section that forms a holding volume for holding the liquid and that extends in a longitudinal direction of the plastics material container, a shoulder region adjoining the main body in the longitudinal direction, in which a cross-section in the longitudinal direction is reduced and with a mouth region which adjoins the shoulder region in the longitudinal direction, in which a mouth is formed, via which the liquid can be supplied to the container, wherein the shoulder region and the mouth region being arranged in an upper section of the plastics material container in relation to the longitudinal direction,
wherein the plastics material container has a deformation section in the upper section and in the longitudinal direction below the mouth section, in which deformation section the plastics material container is elastically deformable with respect to its longitudinal direction.

2 . The plastics material container according to claim 1 ,
wherein the deformation section is arranged in an upper half of the plastics material container.

3 . The plastics material container according to claim 1 ,
wherein the deformation section is arranged in the longitudinal direction directly below the shoulder region.

4 . The plastics material container according to claim 1 ,
wherein the deformation section is arranged directly above the main body in the longitudinal direction.

5 . The plastics material container according to claim 1 ,
wherein the deformation section has a smaller average cross-section than the main body and/or the deformation section has a larger average cross-section than the shoulder region.

6 . The plastics material container according to claim 1 ,
wherein the main body has a labeling region in which a cross-section of the container in the longitudinal direction is substantially constant.

7 . The plastics material container according to claim 1 ,
wherein the plastics material container has in the deformation section a first rib that is circumferential at least in sections.

8 . The plastics material container according to claim 7 ,
wherein the first rib has several rib sections which adjoin each other in the circumferential direction of the deformation section.

9 . The plastics material container according to claim 8 ,
wherein the number of rib sections is greater than 2 and/or the number of rib sections is less than 13.

10 . The plastics material container according to claim 7 ,
wherein the plastics material container has, in the deformation section, at least one second rib that is circumferential at least in sections, wherein the second circumferential rib being offset with respect to the longitudinal direction relative to the first rib.

11 . The plastics material container according to claim 10 ,
wherein the second rib has, in the deformation region, several rib sections which adjoin one another in the circumferential direction of the deformation section, wherein the rib sections of the second rib being advantageously offset and/or twisted with respect to the rib sections in the circumferential direction.

12 . The plastics material container according to claim 1 ,
wherein a further rib extending in the circumferential direction is formed in the main body.

13 . A mold tool configured for producing a plastics material container according to claim 1 , wherein the mold comprises a blow mold of at least two-part construction, said blow mold having at least the side parts which have a corresponding negative shape to the plastics material container to be produced or whose inner wall is formed accordingly.

14 . A method for producing a container according to claim 1 , wherein the method comprises a stretch blow molding method.
