Abstract
The present invention relates to pouch-shaped heat-not-burn consumables and manufacturing methods thereof.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A heat-not-burn consumable comprising:
a pouch made of paper with an inner volume, a reconstituted plant sheet contained in the inner volume of the pouch,
wherein the reconstituted plant sheet comprises:
one or more fibrous supports, each fibrous support comprising plant fibers,
a plant extract, and
an aerosol-generating agent.
2 . The consumable according to claim 1 , wherein the ratio of the mass of the reconstituted plant sheet to the inner volume of the pouch is comprised of from 0.30 g·cm −3 to 1.5 g·cm −3 .
3 . The consumable according to claim 1 , wherein the pouch includes a first layer of paper and a second layer of paper.
4 . The consumable according to claim 3 , wherein the first layer of paper and the second layer of paper of the pouch come from two different sheets of paper which are sealed on all sides.
5 . The consumable according to claim 3 , wherein the first layer of paper and the second layer of paper of the pouch come from the same sheet of paper which is folded on one side and sealed on all the remaining sides.
6 . The consumable according to claim 4 , wherein the sealed sides are a glued seal, a knurled seal or combinations thereof.
7 . The consumable according to claim 6 , wherein the glue of the glued seal is selected from a starch-based glue, a dextrin-based glue, a casein-based glue, a cellulose-based glue, an animal glue, a latex glue, acrylics, a dispersion of polyurethane, an ethylene vinyl acetate-based glue, a polyvinyl acetate-based glue, a polyvinyl alcohol-based glue and mixtures thereof.
8 . The consumable according to claim 1 , wherein the paper of the pouch is cigarette paper, tobacco wrapper, porous plug wrapper or combinations thereof.
9 . The consumable according to claim 1 , wherein the total content by weight of solids of aerosol-generating agent is of from 10% to 30%.
10 . The consumable according to claim 1 , wherein the total content by weight of solids of the plant extract is of from 30% to 70%.
11 . The consumable according to claim 1 , wherein the aerosol-generating agent is chosen from sorbitol, glycerol, propylene glycol, triethylene glycol, erythritol, propanediol, lactic acid, benzyl benzoate, glyceryl diacetate, glyceryl triacetate, triethyl citrate, isopropyl myristate, and mixtures thereof.
12 . The consumable according to claim 1 , wherein the plant of the reconstituted plant sheet is the tobacco plant.
13 . A method for manufacturing a consumable as defined in claim 1 comprising the following steps:
a) providing a first layer of paper and a second layer of paper,
b) disposing one or more reconstituted plant sheets on the first layer of paper,
c) disposing the second layer of paper over the one or more reconstituted plant sheets,
d) sealing the first layer of paper and the second layer of paper together, and cutting when there are more than one reconstituted plant sheet, to obtain the consumable.
14 . (canceled)
15 . Consumable as defined in claim 1 for use thereof in a heating device for therapeutic purposes, the plant being chosen from medicinal plants.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
