Cartridge and aerosol-generating device including the same
Abstract
An aerosol-generating device is disclosed. The aerosol-generating device of the disclosure includes a first container comprising an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein the inner wall partitions the first container into a first chamber having an open side and an insertion space in communication with an outside of the first container; a second container coupled to the first container and configured to close the open side of the first chamber, wherein the second container comprises a second chamber in communication with the insertion space; and a sealing member disposed between the first container and the second container for closing the open side of the first chamber, wherein the sealing member comprises: a first sealing portion extending along the outer wall of the first container; and a second sealing portion extending along the inner wall of the first container, and wherein the first sealing portion and the second sealing portion are connected to each other.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A cartridge comprising:
a first container comprising an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein the inner wall partitions the first container into a first chamber having an open side and an insertion space in communication with an outside of the first container; a second container coupled to the first container and configured to close the open side of the first chamber, wherein the second container comprises a second chamber in communication with the insertion space; and a sealing member disposed between the first container and the second container for closing the open side of the first chamber, wherein the sealing member comprises: a first sealing portion extending along the outer wall of the first container; and a second sealing portion extending along the inner wall of the first container, and wherein the first sealing portion and the second sealing portion are connected to each other.
2 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the second container comprises:
a lower case coupled to the first container; and a frame comprising a first frame portion forming a bottom of the first chamber and a second frame portion partitioning an inside of the lower case to define the second chamber.
3 . The cartridge according to claim 2 , wherein the first sealing portion is disposed in a gap between the outer wall of the first container and an edge of the first frame portion.
4 . The cartridge according to claim 2 , wherein the second sealing portion is disposed in a gap between the inner wall of the first container and the second frame portion.
5 . The cartridge according to claim 2 , wherein the first sealing portion comprises:
a first part configured to contact an outer side portion of an edge of the first frame portion; and a second part protruding inwards from the first part of the first sealing portion and configured to contact an upper portion of the edge of the first frame portion.
6 . The cartridge according to claim 5 , wherein the first sealing portion comprises one or more first uneven portions formed on an outer circumferential surface of the first sealing portion configured to contact an inner surface of the outer wall of the first container.
7 . The cartridge according to claim 6 , wherein at least one of the first uneven portions is formed at a height corresponding to the second part of the first sealing portion.
8 . The cartridge according to claim 2 , wherein the second sealing portion comprises a sealing protrusion protruding downwards, and
wherein the frame comprises a recessed sealing protrusion groove configured to receive the sealing protrusion of the second sealing portion.
9 . The cartridge according to claim 8 , wherein each of the sealing protrusion and the sealing protrusion groove laterally extend to form a curved shape corresponding to each other along the second sealing portion.
10 . The cartridge according to claim 8 , wherein the second frame portion comprises a side wall forming a side portion of the second chamber and disposed to correspond to the inner wall of the first container, and wherein the sealing protrusion groove is formed at an upper portion of the side wall of the second frame portion.
11 . The cartridge according to claim 8 , wherein the sealing protrusion comprises a second uneven portion formed on at least an outer circumferential surface of the sealing protrusion or an inner circumferential surface of the sealing protrusion which is configured to contact a side surface of the sealing protrusion groove.
12 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the second sealing portion comprises:
a lower support surface configured to support a lower end surface of the inner wall of the first container; and a side support surface protruding upwards from the lower support surface and configured to support a side surface of the inner wall adjacent to the lower end surface of the inner wall of the first container.
13 . The cartridge according to claim 12 , wherein the inner wall of the first container and the second sealing portion are each curved to correspond to each other.
14 . An aerosol-generating device comprising:
the cartridge described in claim 1 ; and a body configured to allow the cartridge to be coupled thereto.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
