Abstract

A pickleball paddle is provided, which includes a blade, a top layer, and a bottom layer. The blade is spliced by a plurality of blade blocks. Each of the blade blocks is provided with a coating layer along a length direction thereof. The blade has a top side and a bottom side that are opposite to each other. The top layer is disposed on the top side of the blade, and the bottom layer is disposed on the bottom side of the blade.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A pickleball paddle, comprising:
a blade, spliced by a plurality of blade blocks; wherein each of the blade blocks is provided with a coating layer along a length direction thereof, the blade has a top side and a bottom side that are opposite to each other; a top layer, disposed on the top side of the blade; and a bottom layer, disposed on the bottom side of the blade.

2 . The pickleball paddle according to claim 1 , wherein the blade block comprises:
a skeleton, comprising a plurality of structural units; the plurality of structural units being closely arranged in an array, and each of the structural units being provided with an inner cavity; and a foam material filled in the inner cavity.

3 . The pickleball paddle according to claim 2 , wherein a cross-section of each structural unit and each inner cavity both have a shape of hexagonal.

4 . The pickleball paddle according to claim 2 , wherein the structural units in the blade block are configured as a single layer.

5 . The pickleball paddle according to claim 2 , wherein the skeleton is made of at least one of polypropylene or aramid fiber.

6 . The pickleball paddle according to claim 1 , wherein the blade blocks have an elongated shape, and are spliced along a width direction thereof.

7 . The pickleball paddle according to claim 1 , wherein the blade comprises a paddle body and a grip connected to the paddle body; the top side of the paddle body and the top side of the grip are both covered with the top layer, and the bottom side of the paddle body and the bottom side of the grip are both covered with the bottom layer; the blade blocks have the length direction parallel or perpendicular to a length direction of the grip.

8 . The pickleball paddle according to claim 1 , wherein the coating layer is made of at least one of carbon fiber and glass fiber, the top layer is made of at least one of carbon fiber and glass fiber, and the bottom layer is made of at least one of carbon fiber and glass fiber.

9 . A method for manufacturing a pickleball paddle, comprising:
providing a sheet material having a plurality of inner cavities arranged at intervals; filling a foam material in the whole sheet material such that the inner cavities are filled with the foaming material; cutting the sheet material filled with the foam material into a plurality of elongated blade blocks; providing a coating layer on each blade block along a length direction thereof; splicing the blade blocks provided with the coating layer to form a blade, covering a top layer on the top side of the blade, and covering a bottom layer on the bottom side of the blade; performing hot press forming; and cutting the blade to form a paddle body and a grip connected to the paddle body.

10 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein the coating layer is made of at least one of carbon fiber and glass fiber, the top layer is made of at least one of carbon fiber and glass fiber, and the bottom layer is made of at least one of carbon fiber and glass fiber.
