Multi-use accessory with a hidden detachable storage pouch

Abstract

A multi-use accessory that can be worn as a waist pouch, scarf, sarong or other accessory item that contains a removeable pouch on the inside of a non-removeable pouch. The combination of the multi-use accessory and the removable pouch provides an added measure of security for valuable items and as well as providing a wearable decorative accessory.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus for the storage of valuables comprising:
 a detachable storage pouch comprising:
 a front pouch layer, 
 a back pouch layer, 
 a first fastener across the front pouch layer, wherein the first fastener is configured to open or close the front pouch layer, 
 a second fastener attached to an exterior surface of the back layer; and 
   a multi-use accessory article comprising:
 a body, which encloses a space defining a non-detachable pouch within the body, 
 a third fastener attached on an inner surface of the body, wherein the third fastener is configured to be coupled with the second fastener of the back layer, and 
 a fourth fastener disposed upon an exterior surface of the body; 
 wherein the body is coupled to a tie at each end. 
   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus as described in  claim 1 , wherein the tie at each end of the body includes a wide end and a narrow end. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus as described in  claim 1 , wherein the non-detachable pouch is lined or made with material that blocks Radio Frequency Identification Technology. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus as described in  claim 1 , wherein the detachable pouch is lined or made with material that blocks Radio Frequency Identification Technology. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus as described in  claim 1 , wherein both the non-detachable pouch and the detachable pouch are lined or made with material that blocks Radio Frequency Identification Technology. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus as described in  claim 1 , wherein the second fastener and the third fastener are comprised of a hook and loop fastener. 
     
     
         7 . The apparatus as described in  claim 6 , wherein the first fastener and the fourth fastener are comprised of a zipper fastener. 
     
     
         8 . The apparatus as described in  claim 1 , wherein the multiuse accessory article is configured to tie around a user's waist, neck, shoulder or torso by being 40 to 80 inches in length. 
     
     
         9 . An apparatus for the storage of valuables comprising:
 a detachable storage pouch comprising:
 a front pouch layer, 
 a back pouch layer, 
 a first fastener across the front pouch layer, wherein the first fastener is configured to open or close the front pouch layer, 
 a second fastener attached to an exterior surface of the back layer; and 
   a multi-use accessory article comprising:
 a body, which encloses a space defining a non-detachable pouch within the body, 
 a third fastener attached on an inner surface of the body, wherein the third fastener is configured to be coupled with the second fastener of the back layer, and 
 a fourth fastener disposed upon an exterior surface of the body; 
 wherein the body is coupled to a pseudo elliptical shaped tie at each end. 
   
     
     
         10 . The apparatus as described in  claim 9 , wherein the tie at each end of the body includes a wide end proximal to the body and a narrow end distal to the body. 
     
     
         11 . The apparatus as described in  claim 9 , wherein the non-detachable pouch is lined or made with material that blocks Radio Frequency Identification Technology. 
     
     
         12 . The apparatus as described in  claim 9 , wherein the detachable pouch is lined or made with material that blocks Radio Frequency Identification Technology. 
     
     
         13 . The apparatus as described in  claim 9 , wherein both the non-detachable pouch and the detachable pouch are lined or made with material that blocks Radio Frequency Identification Technology. 
     
     
         14 . The apparatus as described in  claim 9 , wherein the second fastener and the third fastener are comprised of a hook and loop fastener. 
     
     
         15 . The apparatus as described in  claim 14 , wherein the first fastener and the fourth fastener are comprised of a zipper fastener.
