Abstract

The disclosed devices may be viewed in several parts or used as a combination. A first disclosed embodiment is a drainage flashing element comprising a first vertical leg, a weep extending forwardly from the first vertical leg. A second vertical leg then extends downwardly from the free end of the weep. The second vertical leg is oriented in the direction opposite the first vertical leg, but substantially parallel to the first vertical leg, and in parallel to the exterior of the wythe below the weep. The first surface of the weep configured to support a course of building material, such as masonry. The first vertical leg is configured to be parallel to an interior surface of a wythe. The second half of the disclosed flashing solution discloses a sill flashing element. The disclosed sill flashing element comprises a first section and a second section. The first and said second sections are adjacent to each other, and preferably made of a single continuous piece of material. The first section has a flat top surface, with the top surface of the second section sloping on a downward angle from the top surface of the first section. It is preferably that the sill is made out of a polymeric composition which is preferably thermally isolating, waterproof, and resists rust and decay.

Claims

A lintel flashing element comprising: a first vertical leg, a weep extending forwardly from said first vertical leg; a second vertical leg extending downwardly from said weep; wherein said second leg extending in an opposite direction from said first vertical leg; and wherein a first surface of said weep configured to support a course of wall material, wherein said first vertical leg configured to be extending upward parallel to an interior surface of said course of wall material and wherein said second lea configured to extend in parallel to an exterior or interior surface of a course of wall material below said weep.

2 . The lintel flashing element of claim 1 , wherein said lintel flashing element is made out of thermally isolating and rust resistant materials.

3 . The lintel flashing element of claim 2 , wherein said weep is further comprised of a top section and a bottom section; wherein one of said bottom section or said top section having at least one rib; wherein the other of said top section or said bottom section having at least one groove opposite said at least one rib; wherein each said at least one groove accepting one of said at least one rib; and wherein said top section and said bottom sections are securely coupled with each of said at least one ribs nested within one of said at least one grooves.

4 . The lintel flashing element of claim 3 , wherein the width of said bottom section is greater than or lesser than the width of said top section.

5 . The lintel flashing element of claim 3 , wherein a free end of said second leg further comprising a second weep; wherein said second weep running in parallel to said bottom portion.

6 . The lintel flashing element of claim 4 , wherein a free end of said second leg further comprising a second weep; wherein said second weep running in parallel to said bottom portion.

7 . A sill drainage element comprising: a first section and a second section; said first and said second sections being adjacent to each other; wherein said first section having a top surface that is substantially flat; a top surface of said second section sloping on a downward angle from said top surface of said first section.

8 . The sill drainage element of claim 7 , wherein said sill flashing element is made out of thermally isolating and rust resistant materials.

9 . The sill drainage element of claim 8 , further comprising a rise separating said top surface of said first section and said top surface of said second section.

10 . The sill drainage element of claim 8 , further comprising a vertical leg, said vertical leg extending upward from aback end of said top surface of said first section.

11 . The sill drainage element of claim 9 , further comprising a vertical leg, said vertical leg extending upward from a back end of said top surface of said first section.

12 . The sill drainage element of claim 10 , further comprising a vertical dam section on at least one end of said sill flashing element; wherein said vertical dam section creating a lip extending vertically beyond surfaces of said first and said second sections.

13 . The sill drainage element of claim 11 , further comprising a vertical dam section on at least one end of said sill flashing element; wherein said vertical dam section creating a lip extending vertically beyond surfaces of said first and said second sections.

14 . The sill drainage element of claim 8 , wherein a bottom surface of said first section further comprises an opening on each end of said first section.

15 . The sill drainage element of claim 14 , further comprising a mounting pan, wherein said mounting pan placed below said sill drainage element.

16 . The sill drainage element of claim 15 , wherein said opening admitting an upper rib from said mounting pan or a lug from a vertical dam section; wherein said vertical dam section creating a lip extending vertically beyond surfaces of said first and said second sections.
