Container with a ring around the inner surface of the sidewall near the opening for holding a scoop

Abstract

Disclosed is a combination product of a container and scoop. The container has a cap and a container body. The container body has a circular ring attached to the inside of the sidewall of the container body near the opening of the container body. The scoop has a hook which is placed over the circular ring within the container body. The circular ring is held in place away from the sidewall of the container body by a set of legs. The hook is oriented on the top of the scoop, which is the side with the opening to the depression of the scoop.

1 . An apparatus, comprising,
 a container body,   the container body comprising,
 a sidewall, the sidewall has an inner face and an outer face, 
 a top lip, 
 the inner face of the sidewall connects to the top lip, the outer face of the sidewall connects to the top lip, 
 the top lip forms a circular opening to the container body, 
 a bottom wall, 
 the sidewall connects to the bottom wall, 
 a circular ring, 
 a plurality of legs, 
 each leg has a first end and a second end, the first end of each leg is connected to the circular ring, the second end of each leg is connected to the inner face of the sidewall, 
   a cap,   the cap removably attaches to the container body to cover the circular opening of the container body,   a scoop,   the scoop has a hook,   the hook is removably hooked over the circular ring.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus as in  claim 1 ,
 the container body is a continuous piece of molded plastic.   
     
     
         3 . The apparatus as in  claim 1 , further comprising,
 the container body has an upper portion and a lower portion,   the upper portion of the container body has a top and a bottom,   the lower portion of the container body has a top and a bottom,   a first section of the sidewall of the container body, the first section of the sidewall of the container body has a top and a bottom,   a second section of the sidewall of the container body, the second section of the sidewall of the container body has a top and a bottom,   the upper portion of the container body is formed from the top lip of the container body and the first section of the sidewall of the container body,   the top of the first section of the sidewall of the container body connects to the top lip of the container body,   the top lip of the container body forms the top of the upper portion of the container body,   the bottom of the first section of the sidewall of the container body forms the bottom of the upper portion of the container body,   the bottom of the upper portion of the container body connects to the top of the lower portion of the container body,   the lower portion of the container body is formed from the second section of the sidewall of the container body and the bottom wall of the container body,   the top of the second section of the sidewall of the container body forms the top of the lower portion of the container body,   the bottom of the second section of the sidewall of the container body connects to the bottom wall of the container body,   the bottom wall of the container body forms the bottom of the lower portion of the container body,   the upper portion of the container body is narrower than the lower portion of the container body,   the second end of each of the legs is connected to the inner face of the first section of the sidewall of the container body.   
     
     
         4 . The apparatus as in  claim 3 ,
 the plurality of legs is six legs.

 the plurality of legs is six legs.   
     
     
         6 . The apparatus as in  claim 5 , further comprising,
 a granulated or powdered product is inside the container body.   
     
     
         7 . The apparatus as in  claim 1 ,
 a first set of threads formed into the outer face of the sidewall of the container body,   a second set of threads formed into the cap,   the first set of threads and the second set of threads are configured for the second set of threads to engage with the first set of threads to allow the cap to screw onto the container body.   
     
     
         8 . The apparatus as in  claim 7 ,
 the container body is a continuous piece of molded plastic.   
     
     
         9 . The apparatus as in  claim 1 , further comprising,
 the scoop has a top side and a bottom side,   the scoop has a depression,   the hook has an end tip,   the depression has an opening,   the end tip of the hook is oriented on the top side of the scoop,   the opening of the depression is oriented on the top side of the scoop.   
     
     
         10 . The apparatus as in  claim 9 , further comprising,
 the scoop has a first end and a second end,   the scoop has a handle,   the depression is oriented on the first end of the scoop,   the handle has a first end and a second end,   the first end of the handle connects to the depression,   the hook connects to the second end of the handle,   the depression has a bottom wall,   the bottom wall of the depression is oriented on the bottom side of the scoop.   
     
     
         11 . The apparatus as in  claim 10 ,
 the plurality of legs is six legs,   the container body is a continuous piece of molded plastic.   
     
     
         12 . The apparatus as in  claim 11 , further comprising,
 the container body has an upper portion and a lower portion,   the upper portion of the container body has a top and a bottom,   the lower portion of the container body has a top and a bottom,   a first section of the sidewall of the container body, the first section of the sidewall of the container body has a top and a bottom,   a second section of the sidewall of the container body, the second section of the sidewall of the container body has a top and a bottom,   the upper portion of the container body is formed from the top lip of the container body and the first section of the sidewall of the container body,   the top of the first section of the sidewall of the container body connects to the top lip of the container body,   the top lip of the container body forms the top of the upper portion of the container body,   the bottom of the first section of the sidewall of the container body forms the bottom of the upper portion of the container body,   the bottom of the upper portion of the container body connects to the top of the lower portion of the container body,   the lower portion of the container body is formed from the second section of the sidewall of the container body and the bottom wall of the container body,   the top of the second section of the sidewall of the container body forms the top of the lower portion of the container body,   the bottom of the second section of the sidewall of the container body connects to the bottom wall of the container body,   the bottom wall of the container body forms the bottom of the lower portion of the container body,   the upper portion of the container body is narrower than the lower portion of the container body,   the second end of each of the legs is connected to the inner face of the first section of the sidewall of the container body.   
     
     
         13 . The apparatus as in  claim 12 , further comprising,
 a first set of threads formed into the outer face of the sidewall of the container body,   a second set of threads formed into the cap,   the first set of threads and the second set of threads are configured for the second set of threads to engage with the first set of threads to allow the cap to screw onto the container body.   
     
     
         14 . The apparatus as in  claim 13 , further comprising,
 a granulated or powdered product is inside the container body.   
     
     
         15 . An apparatus, comprising,
 a container body,   the container body comprising,
 a sidewall, the sidewall has an inner face and an outer face, 
 a top lip, 
 the inner face of the sidewall connects to the top lip, the outer face of the sidewall connects to the top lip, 
 the top lip forms a circular opening to the container body, 
 a bottom wall, 
 the sidewall connects to the bottom wall, 
 a circular ring, 
 a plurality of legs, 
 each leg has a first end and a second end, the first end of each leg is connected to the circular ring, the second end of each leg is connected to the inner face of the sidewall, 
   a cap,   the cap removably attaches to the container body to cover the circular opening of the container body,   a scoop,   the scoop has a hook,   the hook is removably hooked over the circular ring,   a position of the container body of the circular opening of the container body directly above the bottom wall of the container body,   a position of the container body of the bottom wall of the container body directly above the circular opening of the container body,   the circular ring and the hook are configured so the scoop will hang down if the container body is in the position of the circular opening of the container body directly above the bottom wall of the container body,   the circular ring and the hook are configured so the scoop can rotate and come in contact with the cap if the cap is positioned to cover the circular opening of the container body and the container body is rotated from the position of the circular opening of the container body directly above the bottom wall of the container body to the position of the bottom wall of the container body directly above the circular opening of the container body.   
     
     
         16 . The apparatus as in  claim 15 , further comprising,
 the scoop has a top side and a bottom side,   the hook has an end tip,   the end tip of the hook is oriented on the top side of the scoop.   
     
     
         17 . The apparatus as in  claim 16 , further comprising,
 the scoop has a first end and a second end,   the scoop has a depression,   the depression is oriented on the first end of the scoop,   the scoop has a handle,   the handle has a first end and a second end,   the first end of the handle connects to the depression,   the hook connects to the second end of the handle,   the depression has an opening, a sidewall, and a bottom wall,   the opening of the depression is oriented on the top side of the scoop,   the bottom wall of the depression is oriented on the bottom side of the scoop.   
     
     
         18 . The apparatus as in  claim 17 , further comprising,
 the plurality of legs is six legs,   the top lip of the container body has an inner edge and an outer edge,   the inner face of the sidewall of the container body connects to the inner edge of the top lip of the container body, the outer face of the sidewall of the container body connects to the outer edge of the top lip of the container body,   the bottom wall of the container body has an inner face and an outer face,   the inner face of the sidewall of the container body connects to the inner face of the bottom wall of the container body, the outer face of the sidewall of the container body connects to the outer face of the bottom wall of the container body.   
     
     
         19 . The apparatus as in  claim 17 , further comprising,
 the plurality of legs is six legs,   the container body has an upper portion and a lower portion,   the upper portion of the container body has a top and a bottom,   the lower portion of the container body has a top and a bottom,   a first section of the sidewall of the container body, the first section of the sidewall of the container body has a top and a bottom,   a second section of the sidewall of the container body, the second section of the sidewall of the container body has a top and a bottom,   the upper portion of the container body is formed from the top lip of the container body and the first section of the sidewall of the container body,   the top of the first section of the sidewall of the container body connects to the top lip of the container body,   the top lip of the container body forms the top of the upper portion of the container body,   the bottom of the first section of the sidewall of the container body forms the bottom of the upper portion of the container body,   the bottom of the upper portion of the container body connects to the top of the lower portion of the container body,   the lower portion of the container body is formed from the second section of the sidewall of the container body and the bottom wall of the container body,   the top of the second section of the sidewall of the container body forms the top of the lower portion of the container body,   the bottom of the second section of the sidewall of the container body connects to the bottom wall of the container body,   the bottom wall of the container body forms the bottom of the lower portion of the container body,   the upper portion of the container body is narrower than the lower portion of the container body,   the second end of each of the legs is connected to the inner face of the first section of the sidewall of the container body.

 the container body is a solid piece of molded high-density polyethylene plastic.
