Abstract

A game piece assembly includes: a front surface formed in a first predetermined shape and including a predetermined number of pips, a back surface formed in a second predetermined shape, a side surface extending between the front and back surfaces, wherein the front surface, the back surface and the side surface define a hollow space that is configured to hold a prize therein in a closed configuration.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A game set comprising:
28 game piece assemblies, each of the 28 game piece assemblies comprising:
a first game piece part including a first opening; and
a second game piece part including a protruding portion configured to protrude into the first opening, the first opening configured to receive the protruding portion, the first opening and the protruding portion forming an interference fit connection when the protruding portion is inserted into the first opening, inhibiting separation of the first and second game piece parts,
wherein the protruding portion comprises a magnetic material and the first game piece part includes a first magnet disposed on an inner surface of the first game piece part.

2 . The game set of claim 1 , wherein each game piece assembly comprises a front surface formed in a predetermined shape selected from the group consisting of a dog-bone shape, a coffin shape, an hourglass shape, and a Y-shape.

3 . The game set of claim 1 , wherein, for each game piece assembly, a first front surface portion of the first game piece part includes a first predetermined graphic image, and wherein a second front surface portion of the second game piece part includes a second predetermined graphic image.

4 . The game set of claim 1 , wherein, for each game piece assembly, the first magnet is disposed along a perimeter of the first opening.

5 . The game set of claim 1 , wherein, for each game piece assembly, the magnet material has an opposite polarity than the first magnet.

6 . The game set of claim 1 , wherein, for each game piece assembly, a first front surface portion of the first game piece part includes a first predetermined number of pips, and wherein a second front surface portion of the second game piece part includes a second predetermined number of pips.

7 . The game set of claim 1 , wherein each game piece assembly comprises a side surface including a machine-readable code.

8 . The game set of claim 1 , wherein the machine-readable code comprises a QR code.

9 . The game set of claim 1 , wherein the machine-readable code comprises a barcode.

         10 . A game set comprising:
28 game piece assemblies, each of the 28 game piece assemblies comprising:
 an intermediate connector including a first protruding portion and a second protruding portion, the first protruding portion and the second protruding portion comprising a magnetic material;
a first game piece part including a first opening configured to receive the first protruding portion, the first game piece part including a first magnet; and
a second game piece part including a second opening configured to receive the second protruding portion, the second game piece part including a second magnet,
wherein when the first protruding portion is inserted into the first opening and the second protruding portion is inserted into the second opening, the first game piece part, the intermediate connector, and the second game piece part form an interference fit connection, and wherein the first game piece part is releasably connected with the intermediate connector, and the second game piece part is releasably connected with the intermediate connector, by magnetic attractive force.

11 . The game set of claim 10 , wherein each game piece assembly comprises a front surface formed in a predetermined shape selected from the group consisting of a dog-bone shape, a coffin shape, an hourglass shape, and a Y-shape.

12 . The game set of claim 10 , wherein, for each game piece assembly, a first front surface portion of the first game piece part includes a first predetermined graphic image, and wherein a second front surface portion of the second game piece part includes a second predetermined graphic image.

13 . The game set of claim 10 , wherein, for each game piece assembly, a first front surface portion of the first game piece part includes a first predetermined number of pips, and wherein a second front surface portion of the second game piece part includes a second predetermined number of pips.

14 . The game set of claim 10 , wherein each game piece assembly comprises a side surface including a machine-readable code.

15 . The game set of claim 14 , wherein the machine-readable code is a QR code.

16 . The game set of claim 14 , wherein the machine-readable code is a barcode.

17 . The game set of claim 10 , wherein, for each game piece assembly, the first magnet is disposed on an inner surface of the first game piece part.

18 . The game set of claim 17 , wherein, for each game piece assembly, the second magnet is disposed on an inner surface of the second game piece part.
