Abstract
A portable golf training device that attaches to the brim of a golfer's cap to limit head movement and body sway during golf swings. The device can be adjusted to accommodate the height of a user and can be utilized with the base under a golf mat, on various ground surfaces such as in the sand, on driving range surfaces, or on grassy surfaces by use of removable, interchangeable bases.

1 . A portable golf training device for training a golfer wearing a brimmed cap to keep a proper head position and limit body sway during a golf swing comprising:
a) an upright adjustable length pole having a first end designed to be removable from a portable base and a second end; b) an angled adjustable length pole having a first end attached to the upright adjustable length pole second end by an adjustable angle connecting device attached to the upright adjustable length pole and a second end attached to a clamp with one or more swivel points designed to attach to the golfer's cap brim; and c) the portable base having a receiving tube designed to removably accept the first end of the upright adjustable length pole.
2 . The portable golf training device according to claim 1 wherein the base has spikes for insertion into the ground.
3 . The portable golf training device according to claim 1 wherein the base is a collapsible triangular configuration.
